So hello ladies and gentlemen here I am with a countdown. You know I love Nintendo games theyre so fun. And I love villains. In my opinion the old saying "your story is as good as how your villain is" and "every good hero needs a great villain" are true. In my opinion a well made villain is one who is both enjoyable and desciable love to hate so to say. And because I am a grade A nintendo fan I decided to make a top 10 best Nintendo villains list. Since this would be harder I limit myself for only one villain per franchise. I also wont include Bowser or Ganondorf in the list. I mean I like them as much as the next guy but really... its getting old
So without further ado lets start
No 10
Pokemon is often considered to be a childhood for many gamers, that includes me. I grew up with the 3d and 4th generation of Pokemon. I lived the main series and some of the spinoffs. Despite this I found most villaibs of the franchise...nothing special tbh...well with one expection
The expectuin is Cyrus, the leader of team Galactic. For me he and his team were the ones that stuck out of the most. Sure team Rocket is a classic, I loved theteam aqua/magma rivaly and team plasma is pretty dang good but lets face it.. team galactic was the best. The commanders were really good and Cyrus himself is hands down the best villanousteam leader in pokemon. With the whole "lets make a new space time continuty".
Overall Cyrus is an interesting villain who meant business. I wish that in next gen we would get as good villain as him
Yep, I need a good villain to keep me into the game. Games can be okay without good villains, but a great villain just brings the game up to masterpiece. I love to hate the villains. Like with Kefka. We all wanted him dead. He ruined the lives of the whole cast. The razed towns, poisoned children, and laughed at their screams. Take him out of the game and you still have a good game, but no meaning. So villains are arguably one of the most important pieces to a great game.
Cyrus was by far the best Pokemon villain for me. Team Galactic was already the best evil team with the greatest commanders. I loved fighting them. Cyrus actually felt threatening. His Pokemon fit his personality with his Weavile and Crobat. He was fast and deceptively strong in battle. A great villain to start with! ^_^
Some games work without a main villain (such as fantasy life...there is arguably one villain but I doubt she is fully evil...the main conflict in it comes rather in mysterious artifacts that make monsters go crazy) but I agree with this for the most part. Kefka is amazing. I sadly wont include him on this list because he isnt a Nintendo villain per say. For same reason I wont include villains from the Layton franchise. I hope you understand uwu
Yes Cyrus was the best. I loved battling his commanders and himselfas well. He has everything a great villain should: he is threatening, has a goal and is determined, has memorable battles and even briefly mentoined interesting origin storh (if you go to the last gym city an old woman will tell that Cyrus was a childgenius gone mad or something). All an all a memorable villain, but there are nine others that I prefer over him. Some iconic, others obscure but theyre all unique and have something that memorable villains shouldwhatever it is. I also will have an honorable mentoins list for villains I consired but didnt make the cut for one reason or another
Expressing myself is easy, but my favorite Goosebumps book is insane. Think Alice in Wonderland type of insanity. Wow.
Well, so far I agree. Cyrus representing Pokemon is the best way to start and I am happy that we only have one from each series so now it will be exciting!
I'm glad you made that rule or we would end up with too many from one series. No Bowser or Ganondorf also helps because they are always the top two on every list. It is lame.
I probably get out for the Summer before you too. Although, I will take Summer classes since they are usually open and easy to get into since less students try for them.
