I know we all do not think highly of Sticker Star around here, but did you find anything fun or pleasant while playing it?
I liked a few things:
1. The desert oasis was actually pretty cool. The toad there had a little bit of character and I thought turning on the water was a cool scene. I usually hate desert levels, and this game was no exception, but this part was refreshing.
2. Wiggler is always welcome. Most people mention Wiggler, and the gradual growth into Flutter. This character was a lot of fun. I liked the journal that you could read at Wiggler's house, but I did not complete the whole thing.
3. Snifit or Whiffit was a blast! I did not expect this at all. I liked it and it reminded me of the random game shows that popped up throughout the other Paper Mario games.
4.I actually liked the Ice World. The boss had a legit reason to fight, and was the only fun boss to fight for me. The Enigmansion was brilliant! I actually made a save just before this stage so that I could do it whenever I like! ^_^
Did you guys enjoy any of these parts? Or maybe you have some that I did not mention. You can even post to tell me if you hated everything! ^_^ I would not blame you.

I loved the visuals and music of the game, especially the final boss theme. Also the Enigmansion was awesome and Kamek was pretty cool (I like how he talked for some reason, maybe it slightly reminded me of Dimentio, IDK) I disliked most of the game, but those were some of the good things about it.
As much as I'd hate to admit it, Sticker Star isn't an outright terrible game. In fact, it's surprisingly fun to play, despite the flaws with the sticker mechanic (such as regular jump and hammer attacks being limited). I also happen to like the soundtrack, although it pales in comparison to the music in the previous games, especially the boss themes. Also, to my surprise when I first played the game, the "256" running gag from Super Paper Mario ended up getting put to use. That definitely put a smile on face.
So, basically, in a nutshell, Sticker Star excels as a Mario game, but fails as an RPG installment.
I agree with that completely. Sticker Star is a game I'm proud to own. I'd never throw it away or sell it. It just failed as an RPG. Good adventure and very creative, but lacking. I had my hopes set very high, and I went it to the game with a huge list of expectations.
Did you guys see the early screens with all those partners? The Chain Chomp mostly had me excited.
That may have been why I was not too happy, overall.
I actually liked the game, even though it lacked the "Paper Mario"-feeling from the past games. The music is great and I really liked the battle theme.

I actually disliked the snow and ice areas. There was one, iirc, where you had to use a refrigerator to freeze the lava into ice. (I think that was the ice world? If not, please excuse me.)
It took me forever to figure out what I was supposed to do there. xD Though, I do admit, that ski lift level was amazing.

I know that most people got stuck using the radiator to melt the ice in the first level.

How did you feel about the Enigmansion?
The Enigmansion was fun, for the most part. It had the most diversity in Sticker Star, which was good. I remember I got stuck on finding a few ghosts, (though that was just me not looking hard enough.) and that took a while. xD
Enigmansion was my favorite part of the game. I made a save file there the other day so that I can replay it at any time without going through the game again.
Ugh, the Enigmansion. Am I the only one who does not like it? I mean, when I went there, I was granted with the simple task of finding all the Boos. As much as I love puzzles and all, I hate what they did with it. Ugh.
My favourite parts are the visuals and the graphics. OMG, are they amazing. Also, the snow world was good, minus the Enigmansion, because if I remember correctly it was in the snow world.
The graphics were neat, I think it actually looked more like Paper. How the goombas would get shriveled up and flown away rather than spin in circles and fall down in the other Paper Marios. The Paper Mario games overtime feel more... well paper. I also thought the sticker gimmick, unlike a lot of people, was very cool. Like Super Paper Mario, it was different from the first two, but I don't think either should be considered bad. The only complaints I had were that I can't pass the stupid Tower Power Pokey because I can't find any baseball bats, and the lack of original characters.
(Even though I didn't HATE Sticker I do think the Paper Marios got worse overtime, in contrast to how the M&Ls get better overtime. I think I like PM64 over TTYD.)

I think both got better over time with SPM being my favorite.
I am glad somebody else was able to point out some positives that Sticker Star included.
Most of us also loved the Ice World and Enigmansion, plus the music.
I think we all were sad over the lack of original characters.
The graphics were amazing, and I loved how papery it was. I also liked how they finally updated the designs of the enemies and brought in some Mario characters that have never been paper, like Bowser Jr.
oh reality, it's not for me and it makes me laugh oh, fantasy world and disney girls i'm coming back
