If you have a earthquake spammer on doubles/triples be sure that other teammembers are flying or have levitate as their ability. I would say eelektross is a good choice as a partner for that combo. Mainly because thanks to its thunderwave it will slow the enemies which will make the earthquake spammer (Gigalith in my case) move a bit faster. Just a suggestion tho
Or have my Flying Intimidate Pokemon using Earthquake like Salamence. That way they will lower the attack of the others. Too bad Battle Maison counters your group after a while by sending out its own Flying types and using other tricks.
Raikou is my Thunder Waver now. He is fast enough to do it, but now Ground types are starting to appear in every battle so the AI is adapting.
Would rather go to Waffle Kingdom than this Mushroom crap.

Don't fall into the same pitfall as younger/less experienced players, which is to stuff all same-type moves in one moveset (e.g. Charizard with Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Wave). Try following "once and only once" for movesets.
I always use one type, and never two moves, except for Entei. I have Eruption and Flamethrower on him. Eruption does more damage the higher his HP and hits all three targets in Triples, then as he gets hurt I use Flamethrower. Salamence can also use Draco Meteor and Dragon Claw sometimes. My Metagross use Meteor Mash and Bullet Punch and both are Steel moves. Exceptions exist, but usually you want more moves to cover all types.

I rediscovered a list of favourite Pokémon by type I made in 2010. I have explained some of the reasons why I like them.
Normal
Porygon-Z
I think Porygon-Z has an interesting design and I like the Porygon family in general. I think the fact that they are 'artificial' Pokémon with a history that is not fully understood makes them interesting. Who created Porygon? Silph Co. or Team Rocket? Where did the Dubious Disc come from?
Porygon-Z is also a great Pokémon to use in battle.
It has two great abilities, Adaptability (which increases the power of same-type moves by 1.5) and Download (which increases a stat either Attack or Special Attack based on its lowest defensive stat) as well as an amazing Special Attack stat and good Speed.
An Adaptability/Download boosted STAB Tri-Attack from Porygon-Z can be very powerful, even if it is not very effective.
I also like how the Porygon family (Porygon2 in particular) look vaguely like a duck.
When Generation V introduced the Eviolite, it made Porygon2 a great tank.
I like how Porygon-Z's design (for me) inspires association with glitches.
Other favourite Normal-type Pokémon
Mincinno and Cinccino
Both Cinccino and Minccinno are really cute. I like their smile and eyes.
Skill Link makes Cinccino a great Pokémon to use in battle as well, with Tail Slap, Bullet Seed and Rock Blast and great Speed to pull it off.
I like Minccino's shiny colours too.
Fire
Torchic
Chickens have always been my favourite animals. I think they are very cute and when I used to keep them I loved sit down with them and stroke them. The Fire-type is also one of my favourite types.
I think Torchic has a great and memorable design. One of the things I like about it is the orange and yellow colour scheme, which I think is effective. Since yellow is my favourite colour, I think the shiny version of Torchic is especially pretty.
I also like Combusken and Blaziken. In Pokémon Battle Revolution I used a special Combusken named after my chicken "Cappucchino" that was a Focus Sash, Swords Dance, Agility, Reversal set.
Torchic is my overall favourite Pokémon.
Fighting
Poliwrath
Poliwrath has an interesting typing Water/Fighting, and a cool design. It can learn some great moves in its learnpool, such as Belly Drum, which maximizes its Attack.
In Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal I thought that it was neat how Chuck's Poliwrath had the moves Hypnosis, Mind Reader, DynamicPunch and Surf even though Poliwrath's Special Attack is not too good.
New favourite Fighting-types
Hawlucha
I really love the idea of a wrestler bird.
Keldeo
I think that like Poliwrath, the Mythical Pokémon Keldeo's typing Water/Fighting is cool. Its lore and signature move Secret Sword also appeals to me.
Keldeo uses an interesting variety of colours that make it stand out. It is a great Pokémon to use even though its learnpool is a little limited.
Water
Marill/Azumarill
I adore Marill and think it is really cute. I love its big smile and think of it as a happy, pleasant Pokémon. It has a cute cry too.
In Pokémon Gold, I once did a run where I beat all of the game with only a Marill.
I like Azumarill's design as well. In battle, the ability Huge Power makes it a powerful Pokémon if you give it moves like Play Rough, Waterfall and Aqua Jet gives it priority in speed too! Or you could try a Belly Drum set if you are able to use it safely. Having both Belly Drum and Aqua Jet as moves on Azumarill used to be impossible, but now it is possible.
I also like how when Pokémon X and Y were released, Azumarill gained the Fairy-type, giving it a form of protection against Dragon-types.
Flying
Staraptor
I think Staraptor looks very cool. I've always loved birds too.
I feel the way that the whites, blacks, greys are used and its red-tipped black crest give it a somewhat distinctive look.
I love to use Staraptor and it is really useful in battle. It learns a powerful STAB Brave Bird. If you give it a Choice Band (which Staraptor has great speed to take advantage of), not many Pokémon can take if they do not resist it.
Staraptor can also deal with many Steel and Rock type Pokémon thanks to its ability to learn Close Combat.
Staraptor's Intimidate ability and cry and its serious look gives me the impression "don't mess with Staraptor".
Shaymin
Shaymin is very cute. I think the way that the white, green and pink colours (all colours I like) are used and its big smile make it adorable. And the Land Forme Shaymin has a sweet cry. It makes me feel like wanting to hug it.
Seed Flare is a great move with a powerful side effect.
I think that Sky Shaymin's design is very cool, and it is a great user of Air Slash.
Other favourite Grass-type
Cherrim
The main reason why I love Cherrim (in its Sunshine Form) is because I find it very cute/pretty, and think it has a great, memorable design.
Pink and yellow is my favourite colour combination, and Cherrim looks really happy.
Cherrim is a good Pokémon to use as well in Double Battles. The ability Flower Gift increases the user and partner's Attack and Special Defense by 1.5x. This makes it great if you use it in a battle where "ubers" are allowed with Groudon.
Poison
Gengar
Gengar has a distinct 'cartoony' look (its shape, eyes, mouth), which I love. Gengar and Giratina have always been my favourite Ghost-type Pokémon to use in battle. It has great offensive stats and can learn some great moves like Shadow Ball, Focus Blast and Sludge Bomb.
Other favourite Poison-type
Nidoking
A classic.
Nidoking and Nidoqueen look cool and they can learn a variety of good moves too. Sheer Force makes their Sludge Wave, Earth Power, Ice Beam more effective.
Electric
Emolga
Emolga is a Pokémon that I adore so much. I just think it looks really cute, and cool. Yellow is my favourite colour and it looks great here combined with the white and black. I love its little fringe, its big smile and its yellow cheeks, too.
Electric is one of my favourite types and Electric/Flying is a great type combination.
Emolga is not among the best Pokémon in battle competitively, but I enjoy using it. It has some good moves, and the Emolga I used in Pokémon Black and Black 2 brings special memories for me.
Other favourite Electric-type Pokémon
Lanturn
I think that Lanturn is cool and cute like Emolga, and I like the combination of yellow and blue. Water/Electric is a great type combination.
In my Gold/Silver/Crystal and HeartGold/SoulSilver, I usually capture a Chinchou and train it to Lanturn, and it becomes a valuable team member with Surf, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Rest. Its Special Attack stat is not the best, but it has great HP.
Ground
Groudon
Out of the version mascots, I think that Groudon has one of the best designs for legendary Pokémon. Its dinosaur like shape appeals to me, and I like the patterns on its body. Plus I like how it is so tall and currently the heaviest Pokémon of all time.
It's a great choice in legendary Pokémon battles, which is made better by Primal Groudon's Desolate Land ability disabling Water-type moves against it and the new move it gained.
New favourite Ground-type Pokémon
Phanpy
I think Phanpy is adorable. I also think that Phanpy's evolution Donphan is pretty cool, and it's good to use in battle.
Psychic
Metagross
Metagross has always been a reliable team member for me, so I like Metagross for that, but I also think it is very cool. It has a great design and I like how it is a Pokémon more intelligent than a supercomputer. Psychic/Steel is a great combination. Meteor Mash can be especially powerful that does neutral or super effective damage for a variety of moves, and can raise the user's Attack.
New favourite Psychic-type Pokémon
Jirachi
I have always liked Jirachi and the yellow/white colours it has. Now I consider it as my favourite Psychic-type.
Jirachi gets some interesting moves like Zen Headbutt, Wish. In Pokémon FireRed, my Jirachi from Pokémon Channel had Psychic, Thunderbolt, Wish and Protect. It was nice to train something very strong but so little.
Rock
/\/\ /\◕ ◕/\ ﹀ Corsola grew on me in 2010 and is my favourite Rock-type. It's cute and I love its little "﹀" smile. Awwwww.
Worthy mention
Tyrantrum
I love Tyrantrum's design and I like dinosaurs in general. I think that Tyrantrum is eye-catching with its scaly skin, crest, white 'hair' and fringe around its neck. Additionally its brick red colour makes it look ancient. Tyrantrum reminds me of vivosaurs from Fossil Fighters, and I think it has an interesting type combination, Rock/Dragon. An interesting Pokémon to use in battle.
Diancie
I like Diancie. It's pretty, but design-wise I prefer Corsola. Though Diancie and Mega Diancie are great Pokémon to use that I would like to train someday.
Ice
Articuno
I love Articuno ^\/^. The other legendary birds are competitively better in the current generation, but that personally doesn't bother me. I like Articuno for its design and it is fun to train.
I would love to see a bird like Articuno in real life.
Out of all the Pokémon cries, Articuno is one of my favourites.
In Generation I, it has a movepool that is not so good. But nothing resists Ice there except for Ice itself. So even though it has a bad learnpool, it's not such a bad idea to give it both Blizzard and Ice Beam.
Worthy mentions
Vanillite, Vanillish, Vanilluxe.
I love these jolly little ice cream Pokémon.
Some people don't like their designs, but I thought they were a great design idea. The move Freeze-Dry allows it to score a super effective hit against a Water-type Pokémon.
Dewgong
Dewgong is cute. I like seals. It is not the best Pokémon to use, but that doesn't matter too much for a playthrough, and Thick Fat helps it. I like the colour white.
Bug
Yanma/Yanmega
Yanmega reminds me of something that you might have seen millions of years ago or something you might see in the distant future. I think that Yanma and Yanmega are both very cool Pokémon. Though they are not one of my favourite animals and I only remember seeing a real dragonfly once, I like them.
Yanmega grew on me when I encountered a Shiny Yanma (which is mainly light blue blue instead of red, I like this) in Pokémon FireRed.
When it was discovered Yanmega was going to be released (I think there was a leaked list of Diamond and Pearl mini-sprites or something), I trained this Yanma to a high level in advance of the release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and after I transferred it, it since became a valuable team member.
Mine had the ability Speed Boost. That's good, because you can use Protect to have it faster than the opponent then put the foe to sleep with Hypnosis, and then use Air Slash or Bug Buzz. Hypnosis has bad accuracy, but it can be made better with the Wide Lens item.
I think that Tinted Lens Yanmega is a great Pokémon to use as well. Tinted Lens makes "not very effective" moves normal effective, so then it becomes OK to use it against Steel types.
Other favourite Bug-type
Volcarona
Like Yanmega, Volcarona is something that you may expect to see in the distant past or future. I wouldn't like it if I saw it in real life, but design-wise it is very good.
I think that the idea of a Fire/Bug typed moth like Pokémon was an excellent idea, and it's interesting how the Pokédex says it was thought to be an embodiment of the sun.
The main reason I love Volcarona is its design and how surprisingly effective it is in battle. If you give it a move-set like Heat Wave, Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz and Hidden Power (Ground), then it can boost up Special Attack and Special Defense and take down many Pokémon.
Favourite Dragon-type
Altaria
I think that Altaria is super-cute ^_^. And I love the idea of a dragon with a cloud based body. In Pokémon Black 2, I trained an Altaria named Nimbus.
When Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire came out, Mega Altaria became available which improves its stats a lot.
I love how Mega Altaria is Dragon/Fairy type. Despite being part Dragon-type, Dragon moves do not affect it. It can pull of a strong STAB Pixilate Return, and is given more bulk to set up with Dragon Dance.
Worthy mentions
Salamence
Salamence has a great design. It looks really cool. Not only that, but it is a great Pokémon competitively either on the physical or special side, and a good user of Intimidate like Staraptor.
Latias and Latios
Both Latias and Latios are very cool legendary Pokémon and really reliable team members.
I like to use a Latios with Calm Mind and Roost or Recover. I want to raise a Latias as well.
I like the red and blue colour scheme. In particular, I like the colours on Latias. Normally red is not one of my favourite colours and I like blue, but when it is combined with white, I really like red for some reason, more so than blue.
Favourite Ghost-type
Earlier I may have said that Gengar is my favourite Ghost-type, but I think I like Rotom better now.
I like the way that Rotom is based on electricity and can possess appliances. I think it's cool and rather cute. I like how in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum Rotom haunted a TV in the Old Chateau.
I used to have a regular Rotom that had Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp and Trick with Choice Scarf.
My favourite Rotom appliances are Fan Rotom and Wash Rotom.
Worthy mention
Giratina
I think both Giratina and Giratina in its Origin Forme have an interesting and original design. I also like the lore surrounding it.
Competitively, regular Giratina is one of the best physical walls of all time (if you properly invest the right stats into it) with its great defensive base stats (especially its base 150 HP) and access to Will-O-Wisp. Origin Forme Giratina is good as well.
I had one in Generation IV, and with a Will-O-Wisp, Rest, Sleep Talk, Dragon Claw set and it turned out to be an effective wall.
Steel
Klink/Klang/Klinklang
I think these gear Pokémon were a great, original idea. I like their faces.
Klinklang is an interesting Pokémon to use in battle with Gear Grind and Shift Gear (which increases Speed by two stages and Attack by one stage).
New favourite Steel type
Klefki
I think Klefki is awesome. A Pokémon based on a keyholder with an obsession of collecting (and stealing) keys was a quirky but genius idea, in my opinion. I think its design is really good, I love it.
Steel/Fairy is an interesting type combination.
It is also great in battle. :]
Dark
Tyranitar
Tyranitar looks very cool. I like its ability Sand Stream.
I like the way that in Generation II the Larvitar family were introduced as rare Pokémon that you could only find at the very end of the game, in Mt. Silver. It's a reliable Pokémon to use in battle.
Fairy (Previously not on the list because Pokémon X and Y were yet to be released)
Togekiss I love Togekiss. It's cute. I love its wings and the little red and blue triangle marks/patterns on its head and on its body.
I like the big smile on its face. It has a cool cry as well. In Pokémon Battle Revolution I used a Togekiss named Zygoglider.
Togekiss can be a great Pokémon with Thunder-Wave, Air Slash and Aura Sphere. With Serence Grace, Togekiss can make the opponent flinch a lot with Air Slash if you have them poisoned. You can also use a Togekiss with Nasty Plot learned through breeding, which is an interesting idea.
Worthy mentions
Sylveon
One of my favourite Eeveelutions. It's really pretty. Sylveon was designed by Atsuko Nishida who also designed Pikachu, Minccino and Pochica from Hometown Story.
Clefable
I like Clefable. I like its wings and the black tips on its ears. Clefable grew on me after I did a replay of Pokémon Yellow recently, where I solely picked Pokémon I liked the design of. There it was a reliable team member and tank with Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave and Body Slam.
Clefable gaining the Fairy-type especially helped it.
Mawile
Mawile is cool. I've always thought it was an interesting Pokémon with its large big jaws, though I started to like it more after its Mega Evolution was released which gave it Huge Power and an already high Attack stat. It has low Speed, but can work around that a little with Sucker Punch.

Great choices. I really like many of these, some are even my personal favorites (like Porygon-Z,Gengar or Metagross)
Some comments (I am not going to reply on every single one of them since there are so many
I like Porygon Z as well. I like its design and artifically just like hyou. Never used one tho
The Torchic line is one of my personal favorites. It was my first starter, so that may have to do something with it
Honestly I am not that big fan of fighting types but I like all three of those you mentoined. Poliwrath is a classic, Hawalucha is just awesome and i really like Keledo. I like Keledo (and his fellow sacred swordsmen) because of their design, lore, their (former) signature move sacred sword and the fact they were based on Three musketers (I just love literature/mythology references in Pokemon: D). I like them more as a group than invidually for some reason tho
Marill and Azumarill are adorable. I just love their big big smiles. They make me so happy
Staraptor yess. one of my personal fvorites and my favorite "regional bird". Its just so cool. So cool
Shaymin is one of my favorite "pixie legendaries"(aka the small cute ones like Celebi or Mew). I like its cute design and cry. also like the fact how its the "pokemon of gratitude". Its lore isnt the best lore legendaries have but the whole gratitude flower thing is pretty cool. A confession: i didnt like Sky-shaymin (or skymin as i call that form) as much when it was revealed. It just felt kinda drastic for me.I like it now tho and Shaymin has climbed back to be one of my favorite legendaries : D ( besides the form difference isnt as drastic as Hopas form changes lol and I am completely fine with that)
Nothing special to say about Cherrim other than i like its cry for some strange reason.
I love Gengar's design for its simple cartoonish look and its probably my favorite Kanto pokemon. I just really like this fellow
Emolga is adorable. The first time I saw it I was like "a flying pachirisu. Heck yes!!" I love its typing, as it gives it immunity to ground type moves, whic are the bane of electric types. Electric type is actually my fifth favorite type.
Lanturn is one of my personal favorite electric types (in top 5 at least ) . I really like its design. Despite being based on an anglerfish it looks so friendly.
I personally prefer Kyogre (and Ray-Ray) but Groundon is really cool too. Phanpy is a dorable and Donphan is probably my favorite groundtype.
Metagross is my favorite pseudo-legendary for multiple reasons. I like its design, its typing and its useful as heck. I also am attached to it emotionally,as I nickname mine after a friend (for really weird reasons and the story is pretty long so yeah)
Jirachi is actually my favorite pixie legendary/mythical (unless Hoopa counts). i like its design and how its able to grant wishes
Corsola, I forgot about this fellow and a sahem. Just looking at it makes me smile : D. Its so adorable
Tyrantrum looks like a boss and it reminds me of a viviosaur as well. Even if I personally prefer Aurorus design I still think Tyrantrum is a beast.
Diancie is a cutie and really like its connection with the Carbinks. Hoopa is the best out of the Kalos mythicals imo tho . still I like Diancie and would like to train one someday : D
Articuno is really beautiful and majestic. I like it (even if I prefer Zapdos). I like the Vanillete line too .and dont get why people dont like them (its okay to not like them but still). Just because a pokemon is based on object doesnt mean its un-unique
Yanma and Yanmega are enjoyable pokemon I like them
Volcarona. YESS . I really like the majestic fluffy moth and its in my top 10 Unova Pokemon. I really like moths but sadly most of the moth pokemon (like Mothim or Venomoth) are just "okay"/"like but not that much" for me. Not Volcarona tho. I love its design, typing and usingo ne in battle. I also loved how in the first BW games you got it by tavelling the relic castle. Kinda like how one gets legendaries (go to a dungeon and battle them)
Altaria aka the fluffiest cloud I have ever seen. What else to say eally
I like the Lati-twins. I just enjoy their designs. I prefer Latias tho and idk why
Rotom yess. I like trickster-archetype of characters and this little fellow is one of the best Pokemon tricksters. I really enjoy this fellow and its defintely one of my favorite gen 4 additions.
Giratina is actually my second favorite legendary. I really find it both cool and interesting (lore-wise). It is quite strong too ^^.
Klefki is another trickster pokemon. I really enjoy its concept. I want to add that its kinda based on michevious fairies that steal shiny items like keys. Honestly this little key prankster is my favorite fairy-type and one of my favorite Kalos additions.
Tyranitar is a badasss and the Godzilla of pokemon. What else can I say other than I like its abilites too
Togekiss is adorable. I never used one tho. Sylveon is one of my favorite Eevelutions too ^^ and I like both Clefable and Mawile.
Great list ^^. I will make mine too ^^. Should I try to avoid listing those pokemon you listed since we share quite a few favorites (for variety) or shall I list them on my list as well ^^?
I like Porygon Z as well. I like its design and artifically just like hyou. Never used one tho
Cool. I have never actually used a Porygon-Z either, however, I used to battle against a friend who used one a lot occasionally, its Tri-Attack was strong.
The Torchic line is one of my personal favorites. It was my first starter, so that may have to do something with it
Yes. I think there is something special about our first starters, and the Pokémon that you train hard in general. It is not always about their designs, but the experience you have with them that may shape our favourites too.
I don't know if I am a fan of Fighting-types in general either. It's not that I don't like them, but I like other types such as Flying better.
However, Hawlucha is probably one of my overall favourite Pokémon not just among the Fighting-types. I like how it looks like it's got a mask.
It just felt kinda drastic for me.I like it now tho and Shaymin has climbed back to be one of my favorite legendaries : D ( besides the form difference isnt as drastic as Hopas form changes lol and I am completely fine with that)
Me too. My favourite "pixie legendaries" in order most favourite to least are Jirachi, Shaymin, Diancie, Manaphy, Hoopa, Mew. I like them all.
Emolga is adorable. The first time I saw it I was like "a flying pachirisu. Heck yes!!" I love its typing, as it gives it immunity to ground type moves, whic are the bane of electric types. Electric type is actually my fifth favorite type.
Yes. I love Pachirisu as well!
I have a level 100 Pachirisu with Pickup named Cerenkov. I would like a Shiny one too because I actually prefer its Shiny colours.
Lanturn is one of my personal favorite electric types (in top 5 at least ) . I really like its design. Despite being based on an anglerfish it looks so friendly.
Metagross is my favorite pseudo-legendary for multiple reasons. I like its design, its typing and its useful as heck. I also am attached to it emotionally,as I nickname mine after a friend (for really weird reasons and the story is pretty long so yeah)
Agreed. It's very versatile with moves like STAB Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt. Aww. That's nice. :]
Jirachi is actually my favorite pixie legendary/mythical (unless Hoopa counts). i like its design and how its able to grant wishes
Mine too. I also watched Jirachi: Wish Maker once and I loved its playful personality in that film. Yes, and I also like how it only awakens to grant wishes every seven days out of 1000 years.
Diancie is a cutie and really like its connection with the Carbinks. Hoopa is the best out of the Kalos mythicals imo tho . still I like Diancie and would like to train one someday : D
I like the Vanillete line too .and dont get why people dont like them (its okay to not like them but still). Just because a pokemon is based on object doesnt mean its un-unique
Volcarona. Kinda like how one gets legendaries (go to a dungeon and battle them)
I think the same. However, I also like Butterfree (if butterflies are included too). Volcarona has a somewhat distinctive look, and I think a fiery moth is just an excellent idea in general.
Yeah. The way that you have to travel through the Relic Castle gives me the impression of Volcarona being very rare, like Bagon and Beldum, but for me, specifically more comparable to Snorlax, Rotom because of it being a "one-off".
I like the Lati-twins. I just enjoy their designs. I prefer Latias tho and idk why
Yes.
I personally prefer Latias because I like the colour combination red and white (for some reason red doesn't appeal to much much when it's alone, but I like red and white), as well as its shiny colours more than Latios. I've only ever trained a Latios, but have a Latias I could get around to training.
Rotom yess. I like trickster-archetype of characters and this little fellow is one of the best Pokemon tricksters. I really enjoy this fellow and its defintely one of my favorite gen 4 additions.
Yeah! I like trickster Pokémon like Rotom, Klefki, Hoopa too. ^_^
Klefki is another trickster pokemon. I really enjoy its concept. I want to add that its kinda based on michevious fairies that steal shiny items like keys. Honestly this little key prankster is my favorite fairy-type and one of my favorite Kalos additions.
Me too. Ah, I didn't actually know. Thanks for the information. ^^
Great list ^^. I will make mine too ^^. Should I try to avoid listing those pokemon you listed since we share quite a few favorites (for variety) or shall I list them on my list as well ^^?
Thanks! ^-^
I don't mind either way. I would prefer it if you listed both, but it would also be nice to see extra mentions.
Looking forward to your list. Don't mind when it comes.

Freaking Cyndaquil! Not because is one of the starters Pokemons of one of my favorites games..He at first is like, all cute and probably charming little thing.. but then, since Quilava, you see how it grows, how powerfull and bad ass is gonna be. (You can check out an image of Typhlosion and you´ll see). Besides the looks, you can see that since being Cyndaquil until getting to his last evolution, he is tougher and also persistent...let me put some quotes about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: "I'm going for it, <name>! " "Make me angry and I'll burn you! "
Would rather go to Waffle Kingdom than this Mushroom crap.

I ADORE Primeape :3. Idk why i just do. He is cool. Also rainy you like a lot of ape pokemon (Infernape,Slaking (was slaking an ape...idk etc.)
Fighting types are still pretty useful. They make very good raw power offenses. As least they werent nerfed as badly as dragon types lol
Now a couple of pokemon i like:
-Noivren. I really like its design and how its the perfect dragon sweeper. Its so cool
- Alakazam. One of tge most iconic gen 1 pokemon and one of the most coolest. Its a really good special attacker and I like its design
- Lapras. I have always liked its design. While its the ultimate transport pokemonit also is pretty useful in battle
- Arcanine aka THE legendary pokrmon. Arcanine is a cool looking and quite strong pokemon with an iconic status. Its a shame it isnt that useful anymore but oh. I hope mega arcanine will be a thing, buddy deserves it
- Gliscor. I havent used this pokemon but I like its design. Based on the movepool and abilities it seems to be quite nasty threat
- Dusknoir. Probably my favorite out of gen IV added evolutions (or tied with Weavile). I remember I wanted to use this pokemon when I was younger but I sadly didnt ever use it. I like it because of its design and role in pokemon mystery dungeon 2

Wow, you are right! I love my apes. Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape, Slaking and Primape! I guess DKC left an impression on me in many ways! ^_^
Lapras is a great Pokemon for support and offense. Ice Beam is useful in almost all Triple Battles and setting screens and guards against statuses. I love Plesiosaur-like dinosaurs like Dorrie from Mario and Lapras is so cool when you ride them in X/Y. You get a free one after the 3rd gym!
Gliscor is the ultimate beast sense it has so many powerful moves and few weaknesses. I hate fighting him for that reason.
Dusknoir the WALL! He is cool, but I love ghosts in general. He is one fo my favorite ghosts.

Gliscor is a bigger threat, though. Movepool and stats are insane. He can wreak teams.
Sylveon deserves some mention here for being such a special wall. Iron Pokemon with huge physical stats like Aggron kill poor Sylveon, but a set up Sylveon can be a nice Pokemon to have around. Plus, Fairy! ^_^
Would rather go to Waffle Kingdom than this Mushroom crap.

I like Fearow. It seems to be overlooked in favor of Pidgeot, but I think it generally has better moves. In-game at least. It needs a Mega just like its sibling.

Yeah gliscor is one of those pokemon that i love to use but hate when used against me thanks to his stats and movepool. His ability poison heal is great as well (when he is poisoned he gets healed). Thats why its common in the competive scene to give gliscor a toxic orb as an item
And yeah while Eelektross may be my favorite pokemon I awknowledge that it has its problems. While its ability is great, has great attack stats and verstailw movepool, its lack of bulk compared to slow speed makes it not that good to use competively tbh. I mean technically its bulk isnt that bad (80 in both defenses,85 in hp) its 50 base speed kinda make it bad. A shame since I really like this pokemon. However I think a mega evolution might could fix that and make it viable to use competively ^.^
Sylveon is a rather useful wall and is one of my favorite fairies tbh. Its weaknrss to steel is a shame but on the bright side you can use your fire type sweepers to take the steel types down before going back to sylveon ^.^ . Sylveon is my second favorite eevelution actually. Its so darn cute and fun to use from what I have seen

I find Life Orb or something better to pack a punch. I do like the healing along with the defenses, but I find offense a plus to help in team battles.
Speed is so important. You seem to like some slow Pokemon!
Some people find Sylveon ugly or scary looking. It is in the middle compared to all the forms, but it is still cool. I just love my Leafeon, Glaceon, Umbreon, Espeon and Vaporeon too much.
I know and its sad :C. I wish I liked sweepers more yet most of my favorite Pokemon are slow (including my favorite legendary believe it or not). Honestly slow mons arent that bad if they have good defenses ...sadly Eelektross defenses arent that good :C
Trick Room is nice, but teams later on in the Battle Tower will start to counter it so it is best to run that in addition to other methods just in case.
Or they will use Pokemon that benefit more from your Trick Room.
