Possible Returning Characters

Hey man, long time no see!

I personally hope for Paper Fawful and Antasma. As for what's more likely (If any OCs return at all besides Starlow) Popple would be cool. Even better if he gets Midbus or a Paper character as his new rookie.

The returning characters are Mario, Paper Mario, Peach, Paper Peach, Bowser, Paper Bowser... oh and Luigi.

I personally would like to see some RPG characters return, but not all of them. If that was done, then the game would look entirely fan-made. I'd rather see new characters. But the characters I want to return...

3. Fawful
4. I know it won't happen, but the Smithy Gang.

Merlon and his clan.

Popple, Kylie, Dreambert, and Massif Bros. Elite Trio as well. Basically, the current Mario and Luigi crowd.

Shroobs returning would be a pleasant surprise.

Nastasia, since I felt we still had some character to give her. We need more Paper Mario reps.

Goombella and Vivian. They are among the most popular faces from Paper Mario.

Well game is styled like DT, so i guess DT's OCs have a chance.

M&L: Antasma (as a superboss of some sidequest foreshadowing his return as big bad), Dreambert, Kylie, Popple, Elite Trio, Massif Bros, Broque and maybe Beanbeanians (with possibly some cameo of the Shroobs and Midbus)

PM: Merlon and his clan, Bleck's crew (O'chunk, Mimi and Nastasia), Goombella, Parakarry, Mr.L (allied with Popple) and some cameos of the Shadow Sirens & X-nauts.

I hope we get new characters

I hope they let the Shroobs, Fawful and Cackletta return. For the PM characters, hopefully some of the partners and all that.

I also hope they will give Yoshi a proper role. No Yoshi kid, or the Yoshi theater/island random Yoshis, but the actual Yoshi who's with Mario and co. all the time. Y'know, the one from SMW.

Also I want the SMB2 crew. Wart, Mouser, Clawgrip, Tryclyde, Birdo, the fireball dude who splits up etc. I know SMB2 wasn't supposed to be (afaik) but c'mon, give those characters some love. Shy Guys are also from SMB2 and Bob Ombs too so what?

I want Wart to return in general. He is awesome and I love the thought of him and his minions as an RPG antagonist group or in Captain Toad.

Tatanga in Mario Land 2 was a great cameo. I want more like that. Wart made a cameo in a Zelda game.

As long as she's not busy keeping Timmy at bay, yeah I think Wanda would be a good character to return.

I also want Dragonzamasu, the sea dragon in Super Mario Land.

I doubt Paper Luigi is going to be omitted, but Nintendo is capable of surprises. Bad surprises sometimes. Remember when we thought Waluigi was going to be in Mario Kart 7 playable or Bowser Jr. and Diddy Kong in Mario Kart 8? Yeah.

I will never understand why they omitted Diddy, Waluigi, and Bowser Jr. from games like Mario Party or Mario Kart.

Could be interesting to see how they would translate his mechanics in a RPG form.
