You guys asked for it.
DOWNLOAD THE GAME HERE: DEMO
Greetings. I’ve been itching to show you my masterpiece. Do you remember the canceled EB64? There was another game you probably never hard of that was canceled, it was created by a small company that later created clorox wipes. I gathered all of the information and recreated it to it’s original form. I introduce you the long forgotten game, Earthbound -1 (Known as Mother 0 in Japan) REVIVED!!!
They began Earthbound -1 on the Atari in 1978 shortly after the Atari was being produced. The company that make Earthbound -1 presented it to Nintendo so they could publish it on the Atari, but they instantly rejected it. This was for a number of reasons:
Nintendo didn’t own the Atari.
Thankfully most of these problems have been solved when I recreated it, using the original graphics and such. The game takes place in the realm of Hydrool, where Ness and some other noobs live. But then they’re invded by Hippies, Bad Box Art Megamen, Toy Soldiers, and much more. Who is behind all of this madness? It’s up to Ness and co to restore power of Hydrool before it’s destroyed by this shady dude!

Also, as a professional clay modeler I crated clay models of my characters for the game.

- The game took up to much memory because the creators were stupid and used way too many colors on their graphics. The Atari could not handle this making the game virtually unplayable.
- The creators were very lazy and took very long to finish it. By the time the game was almost fleshed out out, the Atari was coming to it’s end and the NES was almost released so nobody would buy it.
- They were worried the Japanese had no interest in edutainment games, despite this game being an RPG.
- Earthbound -2 (Mother -1) did not sell well on the Magnavox Odyssey due to it crashing on start-up. It had 4 sales worldwide and 3 were burned by the original owners. Only 1 copy exists to date and it’s location is unknown.
- There were references to things that did not exist at the time of it’s creation such as the Gameboy Advance, Earthbound, and Megaman. This includes music, graphics, text, and items. Nintendo was worried they would spoil the future.
