Been a fan of the Paper Mario series ever since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the Wii... No joke! XD I saw a few ads and commercials about the Paper Mario series. But I didn't start playing them for the story until I played the third game in the series. Ever since then? Many games of 2016 have come and challenge what we consider as story driven games now. UnderTale and recently FNAF's World. I hope that someday I can create my own game based upon the Paper Mario series and pay tribute.

True, i like M&L series but i'd like them expand their repertory of IPs.
And tbh i mostly stayed in PM fandom because i feel they had better writing and more deeper villains (see Count Bleck) but Antasma and some of PJ writing (such as Bowser jr characterization) make me feel AD could make more deeper villains (the Bowser jr example only make me think further that Antasma should be back since i'm now certain they could handle a tragic villain characterization for Tas fairly well)

Basically portrayed him as a rather lonely kid who was finally happy to have someone (Paper Bowser Jr) to play with (to the point he wanted to destroy the PM book just so they can never be separated)
Eh? No! I don't want a spiritual successor cause that's dumb and stupid. Nintendo needs to learn that half of it's group of fans are not 4 year old kids anymore. And also I saw this image from another site....

C'mon Nintendo....just give us a Paper Mario with a good story and some OCs....
OCs ....is that all you guys want from a Mario RPG.....I bet you would even love a game that otherwise wasnt that good SOLELY if it had ocs....
I am skeptical about the game too, its just that I am mad about some other things like how soulless the game looks but still.
Yes, that is legitimately all I want. TTYD and PM tier OCs. I'm not completely blind, though, so if the gameplay is awful I'd obviously have an issue with that. Give me decent gameplay and good OCs and I'm fine.

Tbh one thing i like about OCs is how they give new areas an unique feel and make them seem like they are in a foreign land rather than some extention of the Mushroom Kingdom.
This game could actually have OCs based around the island Mario visit.
You could have a species based on paint (which would make the plot more interesting since you would have to stop the whole paint draining thing before the entire species disapear)
Toads and other NPCs with dress fashion that match the locations you are (like Toads who act like fashion designer or sport the classic painter berets)
Ennemies based on paint, painting and art (for instance the SPM designs would very work well for ennemies based on surreal abstract art)
Really as i said, give this game the TTYD formula and it would be an absolutely awesome game.

Would you rahter have nothing like the first two games again . i mean MOTHER has had countless of games heavily inspired by it (not in least Undertale) so why not Paper Mario...besides yor sig says that you want to work on a game similar to PM. sooo

Personally, i already warned peoples that such PM might be basically Sticker Star 2, i hoped they would at least try something new, instead we get what seem to be Sticker Star but with paint instead of stickers.
Imo, they should have continued with the original idea, at least even if it was a "TTYD rehash" like Miyamoto implied, it would be a good ground to improve things rather than completly revamping it into a formula that many dislike.
