I played through the game a little more recently. Shockingly, it was much like my second time in BIS. I had a much easier time with Giant battles and I actually like my Luiginary attacks now, but I still have trouble getting Ball to stay on track.
The first time through had some frustrating times with some attacks, but only that evil BALL remains that way. Do you guys have trouble with it as well?
I guess the giant battles are truly just trial and error, so they seemed better this time around since I had a lot less error. I wonder how they will structure them in the future games if they keep them around.
Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you feel this way. I actually prefer my second time around with my newer games it seems.
I actually haven´t finished my first time around... /too lazy haha/ The ball atack.....you mean Luiginary ball.....it´s the easiest one for me ......Not easy but it isn´t that hard

Too lazy for the game? Do we need to stage an intervention? Blink twice if you think we do!
That's the attack I hate! I have tried to shift positions to help control the ball, but I still cannot keep it going long. That is my hardest. I miss my Snack Basket and Magic Windows from BIS. Super easy and super strong. I just suck at stuff like Luiginary Ball. Come to think of it, the last time I felt this frustrated was in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, where you have to tilt the 3DS to avoid falling off of some walkways. Either my balance is off or Luigi has it in for me!

xD well it is that I am too busy...... and I want t o do other stuff.. I am close to beating it through. I see... xD... well that attack is quite difficult. Some of the normal world attacks (the bomb one and roflcopter one ) are so pain for me.. I mainly use fire flower tho XD
lol roflcopter. Yeah. Maybe one day we can completely master our games! In all the other games in the series I felt more comfortable using attacks. I must practice more at Wakeport!^_^ I blow chunks at the bomb one.
Do not see this as an attack at this game, though. It is fantastic!
I've played through the game twice already; once on normal mode, and the next time on the hard difficulty setting. For the most part, Dream Team is pretty awesome. The only issues I have with it are the mandatory motion controls during some of the boss battles, as well as that copout towards the end of the game. I felt they just couldn't keep a good thing going. Other than that, this game was pretty much everything that Sticker Star should've been.

Yep, I hate motion controls. I feel ya there.
What copout are you speaking of?
I do agree that this game was the Mario RPG I wanted when I purchased Sticker Star. I really hope this game sets the standard for the series in terms of humor and characters.

I'm pretty sure he means the part where Antasma was usurped by Bowser as the main antagonist. Which I agree could have turned out much better. I'm going to have to go back and finish this game again on my Mario & Luigi 3DS. I finished my physical copy but then I got the new 3DS XL with the game pre-installed so I'm working on beating it there too.

Exactly. They go through all the trouble of coming up with an awesome new villain, only to have him shafted in the end. Even before then, Antasma was almost completely undermined by Bowser. They did pretty much everything in their power to make Bowser look good, and as if Antasma was insignificant compared to him, all for the purpose of pleasing all those "WAAAH, BOWSER'S NEVER THE MAIN VILLAIN!" whiners. Just when it seemed as if things were going back to normal for the RPGs after the crushing blow that Sticker Star dealt, they went and pulled a stunt like that. Again, they just couldn't keep a good thing going.

Ah then I agree completely! The boss even looked like the battle from Stick Star. I actually always want the main villain in the RPG games to be original. That's why I love Bleck, Fawful, and Dimentio.
Other than that, though, I rank this game quite highly. The Final Dungeon was not as fun as I wanted it to be, but the game makes up for it.
While I could go on at talking of Antasma and how I felt about "the plottwist" I will not do it now. All I will say is that while I liked him a lot (almost as much as King Boo) I felt that he was HUGELY wasted potential and that I have mixed feelings about the twist...
As for the answer I havent played dt on hard mode and probably wont anytime soon since I am borrowing dt to a friend of mine + am currently trying to beat the final Professor Layton game……
Yees. I don't get it at all. Yeah it was fun to see familar faces ^^. If not anything else
Laytons are great games, if you like games with good stories and mystery (plus I ADORE the artstyle). Are you getting all three of them or. I really want to get Bravely Default but I am saving money for the upcoming Layton/Phoniex Wright crossover....
I'm getting all three games, although I have read about potential problems with all three. Some people really hate the second half of Bravely Default, and nobody seems to like this new Yoshi's Island.
I'll make threads about each to tell you what I think. ^_^
I have never played Phoenix Wright. I do love stories and mystery(Pennington!).
No worries, I'll post my thoughts without spoilers! Well, I'll try. If I do include any I'll warn you. I understand not looking elsewhere online for info. Spoilers pop up so randomly in reviews and such. Although I doubt Mario Tennis Open has too much to spoil. Bravely Default, on the other hand... Yikes! Spoilers everywhere online.
Oh wow, looks like I need these games too. I never really had any friends that played them and I never really thought too much about it. So which do you prefer? Layton or Wright? I know, I'm sadistic for even asking.
My style leans toward Layton. I might get one soon.
Well I love the both series for own different reaspns. I have played more Layton games than Ace attorney tho so yeah. I still hope that you will them : both series are awesome in own way
How many Layton games are on the 3DS. I really want a 3DS version, because I want to create a huge collection of 3DS games. I'm so excited to get one. I've read some about it and it sounds like exactly my type of game. I tried to get one today when I bought my other games, but my Walmart and Gamestop did not have them! They must be extremely popular! ^_^
I was just looking around for Miracle Mask! Sadly, my stores around here do not have it. Is it rare or has it been out for a long time? I might have to buy it online. In fact, 3DS games in general are hard to find where I am. I barely got Yoshi's New Island and it just came out!
Miracle Mask and Kirby Triple Deluxe will be my next 3DS purchases! I'm so excited! ^_^
Triple Deluxe will not come out until May 2nd. So that will have to wait. A long wait. Layton can come in April. ^_^ I can buy that sooner! Hopefully it will keep me entertained until Kirby arrives!
