There have been plenty of videos of losing faith in Nintendo. Nintendo is skipping E3 and not showing off the NX on E3. By the way, Nintendo is only releasing one game in 2017 I believe. It's a Zelda game. Too bad PM:Color Splash is the last game for the WII U to be remembere on.

I'm sure there will be more games launching with the NX in 2017. Probably not Paper Mario, but maybe 3D Mario, 2D Mario (hopefully SMB4 or something besides NSMB), Kart or possibly Smash Bros.
They wouldn't launch a new console with just one launch title (and one that's already available on the previous generation console too)
I'm hoping for a Direct soon that shows off the NX.
Also I believe this topic is more suited to the general video games board, so I moved it.

I was, but after seeing Zelda I'm only losing hope in Mario.
Zelda team knows how to make games, and they know control gimmicks aren't fun. (Except for Skyward Sword, but Miyamoto did that and he stepped down from Zelda)
Miyamoto may be out of touch now, which is understandable. He is getting older. He used to be the face of creativity and innovation, but now he has an old guy's mentality, much like me!
2017 will have plenty of games, by the way. Nintendo is doing quite well, just not with Mario RPGs and Metroid. I still have Monster Hunter, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Zelda. We have plenty to be excited about and I hope you can find something there to enjoy.
Nintendo seems to be a peaks and valleys type of company.
SNES was a peak, but N64 and GameCube were valleys before the Wii came along with DS to peak again. Then Wii U and 3DS went down a little to the valley, so I say we are in need of another peak.
Would rather go to Waffle Kingdom than this Mushroom crap.

Miyamoto isn't perfect. I don't know why y'all keep blaming him on bad design decisions. That being said, was he responsible for how Star Fox Zero turned out? All I remember is that Nintendo tried really hard to put in motion controls for that game, and motion controls were this game's biggest downfall.
Also, I hear Kirby: Planet Robobot is excellent, though I haven't tried it... yet. I do have the game cartridge, but I'm more obsessed about other things like Left 4 Dead 2.

Miyamoto is one of my gaming heroes. He is perhaps the greatest mind in gaming, but he does have some fault in all of this, but it is hard to keep up with technology and ideas. For instance, if I was placed in charge of making Zelda dungeons I may create a series of good dungeons, but some may fail because I try new mechanics. That is human. I see motion controls as something like this example. Hit and miss.
I had a Kirby review posted here. ^_^ I loved the game.
Nah, not losing faith in Nintendo here. I mean yeah, I hate what they're doing to Paper Mario. And I really don't like how we haven't gotten any Wario Land games for years.
But The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild looks amazing. Luigi's Mansion 2 was great, and a third one is basically inevitable now. Mario & Luigi has mostly stayed game. Kirby Planet Robobot is apparently a great game.
So while they're screwing up some franchises, that's not enough for me to lose faith in them. Not even in the case of Miyamoto.
Wario fan, Mario game modder and interested in every Mario RPG you can imagine!
I also run Wario Forums, which is a place to discuss the Wario Land and WarioWare franchises.
The only franchise I'm losing faith in is Paper Mario. Zelda BOTW looks amazing, M&L has already comfirmed that next game will have original characters, Kirby has never been bad, Pokemons still going strong.
Not really, sure they make dumb choices but I still think they have good ideas. I treated SS a CP as anew series rather then the old PM which as far as I can tell as ended and it was a nice trilogy. I don't see any other franchise doing badly. Wario Land shake it was pretty decent and that wasn't that long ago so we might see another later on. Metroid could have something big coming it way but I can't say for sure. F-Zero seem to be dead, I'm guessing GX didn't market well so they might not risk another one.
