Greetings. As some of you may know from my recent posts in the shoutbox and in the Color Splash thread, I am attempting to learn Game Maker coding. To what end, you ask? Well...
To make this a reality:

Now you wonder, "What the hell is this?" It's a crossover concept for Mario & Luigi (Superstar Saga through Dream Team, with nods to Paper Jam) and Paper Mario (64 through Super, possibly with some nods to Sticker Star)
Here's the confirmed cast:
Mario-Playable character
Luigi-Playable character
Paper Mario-Playable character
Paper Luigi-Playable character
Princess Peach-NPC*
Paper Peach-NPC*
Bowser-Antagonist*
Paper Bowser-Antagonist*
Fawful-Antagonist**
Dimentio-Antagonist*
Antasma-Antagonist*
*Role subject to change
**In addition to the above, currently lacks a suitable sprite sheet. Mario & Luigi characters should have, whether official or fan-made, a sprite sheet in the Dream Team/Paper Jam style. Paper Mario characters should have, whether official or fan-made, a sprite sheet in the TTYD/SPM/SS/PJ style. There will still be characters from the original Paper Mario, but they will need updated sprites. At the moment Fawful is the only confirmed character who needs a new sheet.
If anyone would like to help out, feel free to reply so or PM me.
Now that that's out of the way, I ask you the members of the forum to provide me with ideas for plot/characters/interactions you think would be nice to see. Of course as noted above, if the character has no official or fan-made sprites in the preferred styles (like Fawful, who only has SSS-BIS styled sprites), new ones would have to be made (a task I am not capable of)
I will not use fan-made sprites created by someone against their will, so if you find suitable sprites for any character you must either get permission from the creator or ask me to do so. I will try to keep a text file of all the users whose graphics are being used in the game, for use as credits.
With that, fire away! Let's get this project started at full steam! When it's done I will add every user who contributed in any way to the credits. Even if it was just a character suggestion that I did not use, I'll still put you under special thanks for expressing interest in the project.
