Sonic Mania

I'm really excited for this game! The graphics and music are amazing, and I'm sure the gameplay is too! I was honestly hoping that Sega would let Christian Whitehead/Headcannon work on a new Sonic game, so I was really excited when I saw their names come up in the trailer during the livestream. I am planning on buying this, as soon as it comes out.

There are only two negatives (not sure if I could really call them that) I could give about Sonic Mania. One is that it's not for mobile devices or Wii U/3DS. I'm at least glad though it's coming out for PC, so I'll be able to play it. And, maybe more platforms will be announced later, who knows! Personally, I don't really need the game on more platforms though, since I can use a PC. But, it would be nice.

I guess the only other thing is that, although Green Hill is redrawn, it looks a lot like the original, and it would have been cool if they made it look a bit different. Still, it's really cool to see it in there, and I'm looking forward to seeing the other reimagined stages too!

As for the new 3D Sonic game Sega announced, I really don't have much of an opinion yet, since actual gameplay wasn't shown. I mean, it could end being great, but we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, I sort of hope too that the revisited stages aren't part of the main game, but rather unlockable, or something. I also hope they choose some stages that weren't featured in Generations too. Possibly even scrapped stages as well.
