Well, it is that time again! A new 3DS will come out on March 14 in the United States. That game is none other than Yoshi's New Island! I have heard very little about it until recently, but I will most likely buy it on the day of its release. Are any of you planning on getting it? Did you like the others?
I liked the SNES original, and I still own it. I hope this new one will be able to keep up the level of creativity and style from the first. Gyro controls are almost confirmed. That scares me a little. I'll be sure to update this thread with my ideas on the game.

It looks pretty cool. I never got to play the original or DS, but I did play Yoshi's Touch and Go, which wasn't that great, but the others do look a lot better from what I've seen. I may pick this up, and if I like it I'll consider it my first Yoshi game since Touch and Go was so boring to me. I did hear that New Island completely debunks the ending of the original, in that the parents seen at the end aren't the Mario Bros.' real parents, so that's interesting to say the least.
I really hope those controls are just used for transformations and not moving Yoshi.
That's hilarious that the original ending has been nullified. That poor stork can't catch a break.
Not like story matters, though. I just want some good platforming. I wonder what themes the worlds will be based off of. Probably some snow levels and caves, but I hope we get some new types of level designs.
I haven't played this game yet, but I watched a video of the final boss last night, and it was just brimming with originality.
Ah !Yes, the Bowser followed by Bowser succeeded by Bowser WITH TIME TRAVEL !! and ended by Bowser with a slight dash of Kamek, all wrapped in a lovelly napping of rehashing.
I swear since 2007, Nintendo has got some very bad case of Bowseritits and it doesn't help the NSMB team was helping (suddently i fear for Yarn Yoshi considering that Tezuka will participate to the developpement)
I'm on World 3 right now. The game is actually really good so far. I'm glad I bought it. The bosses have been fun, the gyro controls are actually good. The music needs some life, though.
