The ONLY right move or morally sound choice Tanabe made was checking in with the series creator, Miyamoto. Everything else? Tanabe saying one thing while meaning another. I know he didn't give it his best shot with a main series only restriction. Everyone knows he didn't give it his best shot. I would think even some small part of Tanabe knows he's lying. Because if he believes his own lies, he shouldn't be handling Paper Mario. How does someone with access to info the public doesn't have not know about the Piantas, Nokis, Jibberjays, and other exotic species?
That's not even getting into his "Revolution"-style approach in ditching old stuff. There's no getting around this- Tanabe acted selfish, prioritizing what he wanted rather than what the customers and fans wanted. I'm sure Tanabe wouldn't be so happy if someone at Nintendo did the same thing to his contributions.
Why it's not a big of flop it still had lot of potential that ended up being wasted. While I really do like what we got again so many thing could been better and much better experiences. In all I do believe Tanabe, while good at what I've seen, lack insight and fail at fully expand the verse.
But on the good side, it look like he'll be replace for the next one. Hopefully someone whom know the sires well enough to make a great varied experiences.
I understand that Sticker is he way it is due to a bit of a time crunch, so they ended up taking shortcuts.
Well the future look a bit misty at the moment, so who knows they they'll do next.
That sounds very interesting!I hope it will be a good system, but i don't know what to say.If it will be good again,i will be happy, but see how a mistake was Sticker Star was.I can only wait to see what will happen
