KAMMY KOOPA- One of King Bowser's most devoted henchwomen, Kammy Koopa...also fails to stop Mario and Luigi from leaving Bowser's Castle with Peach. While Kammy could fly after them and just stop the plot immediately with her magic, her heavily injured king needs her more.

ENEMIES- SPINOFF SOLIDS

BURT- The clown who bounces around, Burts travel to and fro as they listen to their favorite genre- hip hop- (SMACK!)

Tough crowd. Anyways, Burts tend to travel in twos, Squads or not. This makes dealing with their otherwise one-note strategy suddenly a dilemma. Nevertheless, a good hard hit might leave them embarrassed and distracted for a turn.


GOONIE- They're not quite storks, but Goonies still deliver recruits to assist catching fish, as well as annoying their foes. Because of this, they're seen as pests by the Grizzetis. Even clipping a Goonie's wings isn't enough, as Flightless Goonies are fast.

MAIN SERIES ENEMIES

FUZZIES-
Urrzi was a giant bear
He "superheroed" everywhere
When he went to fight a Buzzy
He instead found himself a Fuzzy.

The Fuzzy stole a little HP
Urzzi healed it, like you or me
One turn later, he went to attack
The creature who was colored black.

Without warning, and all of a sudden
Fuzzies of different colors arrived like it was nuddin'
Together, they formed different Squads
(But no matter the number, they were cowardly clods).

Orange's buddies leeched more life
While Purple cribbed some Fruit.
After Green helped himself to some Tempo
The Fuzzies made off with their loot.

Urzzi gave chase, but soon they escaped
Like a legally disputable giant ape
Eventually, Urzzi shrugged it off his muzzy
Leading him to wonder "Is Urzzi Fuzzy?"

...Only for a Jibberjay to tell him no, he wasn't.

Thanks, Jake! I figured it would get boring reading the same kind of bios, so I started sprucing things up. Also, I'm glad you like the character designs.

I'd wanna see a real Paper Mario like this.With a great story,unique characters and a TTYD based combat system,but i start to lose my hope since Color Splash.

NPCs

TRIPLE BANANAS- Long before Plessie came to the Frutta Archipelago, these literal dude bros. were ruling the waves as they bodysurfed across the Specifica region- all to score some points with the lovely blueberries and melons that relax at the beach. There's almost always the same fruit in a bunch.

From top to bottom...
WAVETASTIC YF- The fastest and coolest of the triplets, YF is one with the waves. He knows some pretty resourceful people across the ocean, too!
DELICATE JEFFREY- The strongest of the triplets, Jeffrey is careful with his strength. Oddly enough, he still loses balance.
SLIPPERY SLICK- The quiestest of the triplets, Slippery Slick just observes the action. He's still pretty friendly, though.

NPCS

BUKKE- The Basso Beach lifeguard. While Bukke likes having good, clean fun just as much as the next Noki, there’s never a moment where he’s not on duty.


FONE- The receptionist....ZZZ...of the Snoozeberry Inn near...ZZZ...Basso Beach. Like most em....HURKLEGUG...ployees of the inn, Fone wears her....GUBBEGUBBE...pajamas to work. As you can seeUGGGGGGGH...., this creates quite a...chapchap...lethargic atmosphere. When she's aWAYAYAY...ke, she's quite a snippy Noki woman. Now, if you'll excuse me...eee...eee... COUUUUUU....choooo....

Bukke and Fone are the final NPC I'm revealing before the full topic is released. To give readers/"players" an idea of how many unique, non-generic NPCs there are, I've revealed not even 1/5th of them all. That stated, there's still 2-3 updates left before this lead-in topic ends.

As an end of month treat, here's one extra update with three extra enemies for Fruit Shake. Recognize them?

Full model sheets of these three enemies will come in time.

PARTNER

ADMIRAL BOBBERY- A dignified Bob-omb whose life is sailing, Admiral Bobbery met Mario years ago in Rogueport. The plumber and his pals were searching for someone to serve as captain for a voyage to Keelhaul Key, overseen by the pompous Flavio- but the Admiral refused. Eventually, discovering the truth about a loss he suffered and something to motivate him, Bobbery was convinced to give sailing another shot.

Later, after an already haunting arrival to the island, Admiral Bobbery held several Phantoms back while Flavio, Mario and the crew escaped. With the help of a drink especially popular in another dimension, Admiral Bobbery was rescued, serving as Mario's partner for the rest of the Rogueport journey.

Now, Admiral Bobbery has been coaxed by Flavio again on another voyage- this time to the Frutta Archipelago. With Bobbery's power and wisdom once again at his side, will Mario stand a better chance against Re Fenice and his Genes Nuvola air fleet?

Since Fruit Shake is going to take a while, and since it was incredibly obvious I was building up Bobbery's return, I decided to let the Super Bell out of the Mystery Bag early.

Speaking of Fruit Shake, a slight announcement. Like the Recut of the Wii U game, Fruit Shake will be divided into two "Acts"/topics- possibly three. This is so at least part of the story is released at some point. Act 1 will be released by Summer (July/August) 2018. The reason for the long wait is due to other priorities that I should have been attending to, yet kept dwaddling/procrastinating on.

There's 12 other basic enemy types I haven't yet shown. Altogether, there are 43 unique enemies and a secret amount of palette swaps/model mods in Mario Story: Fruit Shake.

Progress Report (March 5th)
NPC sprites- All Jibberjay characters complete. All Fruuto Banana characters complete. All Grizzeti characters complete. All Doogan characters complete. 28 NPC characters left.

Here's an assortment of some of the above.


SPARAKAN- Vendor of the balloon stall at Bueno Park. She has better things to do, but she'd rather sell balloons than participate in theatre like every other Jbberjay.


TALONMOR- A young child prodigy Beakhov has been tutoring. She has all the makings of a great director- she just has to keep her mind open and the lights on.


WETTY- One of four blues singers hailing from the Fruuta Archipelago. Despite one setback after another in his life, he just keeps crowing on ahead.


PLATAIN- A street musician skilled on the steel pan drums. Just as Platain is one with the drums, she's also one with the vibes of life.


AFROZZE- A fisherman who spends his days catching Cheep Cheeps and other exotic aquatic life for fun. Due to certain old beliefs among the Grizzeti, Afrozze never actually eats or cooks the fish- after he catches them with his net, he tosses them safely back into the water. Nevertheless, he feels he's not doing much to contribute to the Grizzeti settlement.


DENTEZZA- A girl with a new dental plan. Dentezza loves showing off her new biters to everyone- friends, enemies, family, lawyers, and celebrities. Her new teeth and boosted self esteem can't hide how vulnerable she still is as a cub.


FELEZ- A merchant in Frutta Citta, Felez sells some of the best healing items around. As resources are currently a little scarce, he needs to make sure his potential buyers won't waste his goods.


RUFFICA- A merchantess in Frutta Citta, Ruffica sells some of the strongest Fruit Caps around. However, she needs proof the buyer can handle their power responsibly before she even considers selling them.



For a bit of transparency, though, originally I indicated that the 22 NPC characters I showed before the big hiatus were less than 1/5th of all total NPCs. Due to the infeasibility of making 113+ characters, and after researching how many were in the previous games, the number has been consolidated to the absolute minimum this story demanded- 89. None of the characters shown or mentioned in previews have been dropped, though- just unseen ones.
