Extra Tracks
Castle Antasma: A race based around a dark purple castle floating high in the night sky. You start outside in dream deep-like road, then you enter the castle which is full of purples vines with flaming antasmatons spining around and ghost bats from Luigi Mansion sweeping around, you can kill the bats with items and some of them will give you bonus coins (kind of like sucking the bats in LM gave you money). You eventually enter into a portal which sends you to the dream part of the course, in it you basically swim in mid-air (like the gravity Luiginary work), Antasmans will appear and sometime throw magic blasts around. At the end of the Dream section you find another portal which sends you back to the real world and outside the castle, however you are in mid-air and you must glide avoiding the castle's spikes and giant vines back to a dream deep-like road which signal the end of the lap.
Horror Land - A Halloween-themed course. This is the longest course in the game! The race starts on a village street. Witch huts line both sides of the street. The witches cast spells as the drivers pass by, causing the karts to grow or shrink. The player must decide whether to take the risk of getting hit by the spells or not. The path then leads to the side of a highway where tons of children dressed as ghosts walk by. You must dodge the ghostly trick or treating kids to make your way to the graveyard. The graveyard has many tombstones that come to life and block the path. A haunted taxi cab also drives through this area trying to ram racers off the path. After exiting the graveyard, the path leads to the pumpkin patch. The various Jack O' Lanterns here shoot flames at the drivers and try to snare the racers in their vines. A haunted house belonging to Kamek looms after the pumpkin patch and signals the end of the course! That is, if you can make it through his house! Kamek makes certain pathways appear and disappear by lighting his darkness lamp. His library involves dodging monstrous books and chairs. Finally, players must exit the last room by dodging a monstrous piano with teeth to cross the finish line! . Retro Cup

Battle Courses (Classic elimination-style balloon battle and Jewel Hunters)

King Boo's Crypt - The catacombs belonging to King Boo make up this battle course. Drivers must navigate a sprawling underground maze in order to successfully defeat their enemies here. Greenies dressed as mummies infest certain areas of the tomb. Drivers can use golden bones to slam other drivers into these mummy-infested pits.
Icy Grave - A snowy pit under the Secret Mine. As the battle progresses more of the ice begins to fall away, taking careless drivers with it. Eventually only a single area will remain if the battles lasts long enough. This small area will make for an extremely dangerous battle for drivers. Eliminating the other drives quickly is a sure way to win. Try to lure them onto ice that is about to fall, but don't end up in an icy grave in the process!
Ghastly Gears - A battle stage set atop multiple clocks and gears. Drivers can rotate clock hands and gears to trap and damage opposing drivers. New enemies will appear on the course after set amounts of time. The longer the battle lasts, the harder it becomes to survive. Drivers may even need to work together and form temporary alliances in order to deal with these supernatural threats.
Treetop Terror - Drivers battle upon the top of the tree situated in the middle of Haunted Towers. Drive out on the huge limbs to lure opponents into a dangerous spot or hide behind the greenery to stage an ambush. Activate the monstrous stairs near the tree house to give an extra fright to the opposing drivers.
King Boo's House of Illusion - A maze full of mirrors! Item boxes fall from the ceiling and drivers must scramble to grab them. However, the mirrors are deceptive, so finding opponents and items may not be as easy as it seems. Launching items at incorrect mirrors may cause the item to backfire at the driver. Think carefully to survive this battle.
Boohemoth Brawl - A special type of battle level. All drivers follow a wide, one way road. Boohemoth gives chases from behind! Grab items and impede the other drivers in order to stall them enough for Boohemoth to catch them. Reach the sunny valley at the end of the road to survive and escape Boohemoth's wrath!
Perilous Pipe-Organ - This battle takes place on a massive pipe-organ. The giant moving keys can impede drivers. Try to drive into the pipes to shoot toward the ceiling to grab items. Beware of the giant ghostly hands playing the pipe-organ however, getting smashed by those may lead to your own pipe-organ song at your funeral.
Fear Factory - A factory in the middle of Evershade Valley. Long abandoned, and in disrepair. The lights constantly turn on and off as if the wiring has a mind of its own. The factory itself seems to be alive as if possessed. Drivers will have to navigate the darkness, avoid crates that open to reveal ghosts and conveyor belts that lead to pits. Broken weapons can be found in the background. Some say Smithy's spirit still controls the factory.
Chauncey's Cradle - Uh oh, Chauncey has returned! This course takes place in Chauncey's Cradle. This area is very small. It is an all out battle of close combat. Watch out for Chauncey's rattles and rocking horses as you battle. Chauncey will also appear randomly and bounce around the crib. He loves playing with toy karts! Getting flattened by Chauncey is an instant elimination as Chauncey will drag the kart away.
Doopliss Carnival - Doopliss has used his stage name to create a carnival of horrors. Attractions include a roller coaster modeled after Doopliss which has a mind if its own. Drivers should use caution if they venture onto the tracks. Duplighost worshipers have created a massive fire pit in the middle of the course. Knock drivers into this pit or use ramps to jump over the pit to grab item boxes. The Big Top is filled with bouncy floors and walls. Enter this area to throw your enemies off balance. Finally, check out the spook house modeled after the Creepy Steeple. Atomic Boo lurks in the shadows, however! This course is one of the most dangerous and a true test of the player's skill.

Good track ideas so far. I have been wondering what would be the versions of Rainbow road and Bowsers castle( since pretty much every Mario kart has them). I thought that instead of Bowsers castle we could have a gigantic castle like mansion with different obstacels. No ideas for the "rainbow road" yet
Also if this game had retros they would pretty much be the haunted house courses from mario kart games
I also got some new ideas for races. The spooky speedster could fit in (or then just an alt "outfit" for boos) as well as a Peepa.
Would the mansion course from MK8 be a retro road as well.
Well I am not sure whether all ideas have been accepted or not but so far we have -boo -big boo - eerie - boo guy -octoboo - Peepa -Greenie -Polterpup -Doopliss - Vivian - King Boo
I wasnt sure whether we had talk about which potrait ghosts could be in and of some suggestions such as Lady Bow
Yeah, Twisted Mansion will be in it as a retro course. We'll include Lady Bow and Melody and Van Gore. We did talk about that. I'll edit all of this in my first post in this thread so we can keep track of our ideas.
Yep, we are making good progress for the day. I'm so proud of us! ^_^
The next course I'll edit in is the Enigmansion from Sticker Star. That place was one of the coolest boo stages to appear in the series. I'll put it in as a nitro course since only past Mario Kart levels will be retro courses. RPG areas will go in nitro course.
My bad, buddy. I'm sorry I forgot about Boo City. I'll also include some of the mansions from Dark Moon. Give me time to catch up! You better pay me well when this game takes off! I at least want $3.50!
Well, I did add my own spin on some of it. Haunted Towers never had the player go under water, but I figured in Boo Kart we could also drive underwater like in the newer Mario kart games. I think gliders should also be used.
Thats how nitro courses inspired by games should work ^.^ .
Boos with gliders yes Also I thought the weirdest thing yet. A boo pokey. They could be stage hazards. Theyd "walk" on the road in some courses and they could hit a player of the road if hit
They could be included in the Old Clockworks since that is a desert level. Good idea!
Also, as a new course what about King Boo's Ghost Ship. It could be a ship that carries his treasure, but became lost at sea. The level would be like a ghostly version of Daisy Cruiser.
Ghost Beach could also be a level. The waves on the shore could be murky and hazardous if you get caught in the water and maybe your ghost pokies could pop up out of the sand suddenly.
We will figure out the cups much later after we decide on a few more levels. I think it will be easy to make the cups. I might even divide them into cups tonight when I have time. I have a rough idea of the difficulty of each level.
We can have as many courses as we want. We can always invent new cups or put more races in each cup.
Yeah, lets make some items! Poltergust is one. It can move you close to a racer in front of you or be used to suck up obstacles likes boos. Boo's Sheet can you invisible for a short time to drive through attacks or obstacles.
Then we can make a battle mode. One of the retro battle courses can the Twilight House from DS and Mario Kart 7.
Phew, looks like I have tons of edits to make. My hands will be tired tonight.
God item ideas. I dont have one yet. Also you mentoined the mirror which basically is a blooper of the game
Also one item or obstacle could be a dissappearing boo buddy. It could be invisbile unless someone drives through it which makes the said racer trip. Kinda like banana peel so to say (if its an item)
Okay. The Boo buddy sounds cool. Let's make him that Green ghost that throws banana peels in Luigi's Mansion. Except in this game he'll grab and hold a kart for a short time scaring the driver. How is that?
About the cups. I think we should make our own cups instead of Mushroom or Flower cup. The final cup could be the Crown Jewel Cup which represents King Boo's crown.
Boo cup is a great start. Yay! *high fives* Now we have the first and last cup. Phew. I'll start thinking of how to divide these cups. This may take a little while. My posts after all the edits will be so darn long.
