Which chapter is your favorite! This game had lots of great chapters. It was a hard choice for me, but I had to choose 3 Days of Excess. This chapter was very unique. It did not involve too many battles, but instead focused on characters. Every character was unique! You had the ditzy waitress who had many boyfriends. You had Chef Shimi who always minced his words. Heff T. the gluttonous toad and Ghost T. the ghostly toad. An uptight business man and a fake Zip Toad also made for good characters.
You also had Pennington, who was the most hilarious character to me because of how clueless he was. He let Mario(Luigi!) do all the work. This chapter mostly had Mario solving mysteries and talking to characters. It was a unique experience. You also had to explore the broken down Riverside Stations which had an amazing sunset in the background and spooky, silent atmosphere. Then the Smorg invasion just topped off the whole train ride!
The chapter ended at Poshley Heights, where you could visit with Bumpties, see the huge hotel, or buy pasta before going to Poshley Sanctum, which had Pink Boos on the other side of it and my favorite theme in the game. This chapter had it all! ^_^

Mine would have to be Chapter 4. It had some annoying backtracking but I freaking loved the whole atmosphere of it. And it was cool fighting your partners, even though that boss itself was pretty easy. The whole part where it pretends the chapter is over was hilarious as well.
I liked the the moon in the distance in the sky. That chapter had such a rich atmosphere. It felt so isolated. I also like the comedy with Doopliss and his parrot, and the optional boss was fun. I always try to defeat all my partners in the final battle to make it more fun.
I loved the backtracking because the Twilit Trail was fun for me. I liked how the trail grew darker the further you went as you got closer to the Creepy Steeple.
The ground being multi-colored was especially cool, and the cream-colored sky. The whole place felt like a whole different world. I also loved leading the army into battle. I felt like a rebellion leader.
Chapters three, five, and eight were my favorites. Aside from the final chapter, the third one in particular really stood out, because of all the unexpected plot twists. Grubba's the last person I would have suspected to be behind everything (minus the cake poisoning).
this is too easy, the glitz pit chapter was by a long shot the best in my opinion. chapter 2 was prolly the worst chapter for me, i didnt like the hauling everyone around that maze of a tree. if one got left behind you had to go back and get the elder to call them back. it just wasnt fun for me, the glitz pit and the train were my two favorites. the rising thru the ranks being an undercover detective was great.

Chapter 3 was the best. Mystery discovering was just too cool and Grubba being the one behind it was just a major twist. I love everything about this Chapter and wish it pressed on for longer because the longer the mystery the more enjoyable. Apart from that this is the best Chapter in the game 11/10...
