Something about Luigi being more like Mr L because hypnosis can only work if you want to be hypnotised and not make you do something you wouldn't otherwise want to do.

Honestly though? I think they're wrong based on one simple thing:
This is Mario. Not real life.
Mario has different physics, magic in exists in the universe and various things like mind control likely work very differently.
In other words, what works in the Mario universe is not what works in reality. The mind control/brainwashing'hypnosis powers are literally like how they worked in old school media; you get forcefully changed against your will and can be very easily made to do stuff you wouldn't choose to do. Look at Fawful in Bowser's Inside Story for example. All those monsters are transformed and brainwashed into being loyal to him. Or heck, look at another part of Super Paper Mario, with the Floro Sprouts and what not. Everyone with those things is forcefully changed against their will. It even happens in the final boss fight.
Wario fan, Mario game modder and interested in every Mario RPG you can imagine!

This theory is clearly wrong for how there was never a sign of Luigi wanting to hurt his loved ones, even if real life was associated in this situation, it doesn't matter. Luigi found his bro to listen to his stories lf his own adventures and how much his brother cheered him up when they reunited in the underwhere, and even when Luigi went on to face Dimentio, Luigi ALSO found Mario to look back in distress when he left. Luigi had to convince Mario for an exceptionally long time to leave him. Luigi sees Mario's morality to him and never had a certain "hate". Mr. L was a totally different person than Luigi for THAT HE SERVED COUNT BLECK.
This video proves that Game Theory's theories even if they have psychological abscure facts to them, doesn't mean they can't be disproven by a legit ten year old. This theory is terrible.
I didn't even bother to look. Mario, Roselina, and Bowers's theories are just absurd without bothering to understand the World in which Mario lives in. Mr. L is no more but a brainwash minion of Bleak you might get the idea that he could represent a darker side of him but nothing more. Though it is interesting about Mr.L and is machinery know how, maybe Luigi can built tings too but just never tried.
I recommend Conner the Waffle. He has more faith on the Mario series though he's a bit cheesy and very soft/happy like. It's honestly nice to see some one looking more positive rather then the evils and twisted nature of everything. Which is sad as Gametheory is good in other area just not with Mario (and few other spot).

Luigi has shown to be capable of operating many types of machinery in the Luigi Mansion games. I would imagine Luigi might be lazy, but brilliant.
