True, I like those as well. They always shock me. Thousand-Year Door was dark from the first 10 minutes.
Kirby always starts in a happy and nice way, even when something bad happens. Then it gets crazy! I guess I would want a game that starts happy, but has a few dark undertones and foreshadowing throughout until the end when it turns dark.
True, I like games that both adults and children can enjoy. The kids love the happy themes, but the adults get the dark undertones that the kids miss. This way a game can be entertaining to more demographics.
And some people still say Nintendo is kiddy! Little do they know how dark it can get.
THAT WOULD BE AWESOME (but isnt eternal darkness : sanitys requiem that)
Speaking of which I found a fanmade Mario horror game called Mario's music box (or something like that). Its a pixel horror game (like Corpse party, IB or witches house) in which Mario enters an old mansion
Eternal Darkness was by Silicon Knights and produced by Nintendo, but Nintendo did not actually make it. They only funded it and put their brand on it. I'm talking about a game straight from Nintendo! ^_^
Do tell! That sounds cool. Leave it to the fans to make cool games!
