well I am still just beginning to sprite. I did Waluigi in that style a long time ago, but I think his legs turned out a bit too jagged.
I should update that on Deviantart so that the legs are better.
If the character in question interests me and also has a similarly-built character that is in Dream Team or Paper Jam, I might do them at some point, but every sprite I made in that style so far has been an edit of an existing character (Mario for King Candy, then edited further for Turbo, and Luigi for Waluigi)

Yeah like I said it's an old sprite. I might edit it whenever I have nothing else to do.
Here's a different kind of art: a model. Though I can't actually make models from scratch, I can retexture them and mix parts together. I did this with the Mii suit model from MK8 combined with a retextured Mario face to get this:

Yeah I was a little lazy editing the face beyond its colors, heh
I would also do his King Candy form, but I'd then need a bald character to work with, which Mario is not. And even then, he has more details on his clothes that stick out and would be impossible for me to add properly.

I'm reliving me childhood and it all started back when I watched the first videos of Paper Mario 64 and TTYD on sites like GameSpot and IGN back when YouTube didn't even exist and the concept of Let's Plays wasn't as big as they are today....

Been a fan of the Paper Mario series ever since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the Wii... No joke! XD I saw a few ads and commercials about the Paper Mario series. But I didn't start playing them for the story until I played the third game in the series. Ever since then? Many games of 2016 have come and challenge what we consider as story driven games now. UnderTale and recently FNAF's World. I hope that someday I can create my own game based upon the Paper Mario series and pay tribute.
