The Official Fawful Thread

Definitely. As I said before, none of us ever expected Honey Queen or Metal Mario to ever appear in Mario Kart, but they did. In the future, Nintendo will want to spice up their rosters and they are bound to include characters from the RPGs at some point. Donkey Kong characters made it, generic enemies like Shy Guy made it. So I am very hopeful! ^_^

Fawful is a way more recognizable character than Antasma, even with Antasma being in a recent game. Fawful has been in more games, more memes, and is more quotable. Antasma suffered from a lack of screen time in his game. I'm pulling for both though. I like setting myself up for massive heart break. ^_^

True, I could see younger players only knowing the characters from a recent game. In that case, I'm pulling for Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy and Corporal Paraplonk!

Yep, I actually did know that!

I loved them in Bowser's Inside Story as well. They were my favorite side characters in that game and in Dream Team. In fact, the ending of Dream Team made it seem like they will appear in the next game in the series, so they may catch on as regular minions!

I'd love to see Fawful back but admitely not as a major antagonist or at least not for the next game (that honor belong to Antasma)

What would be interesting is if he teamed up with Popple, like Fawful help him steal treasures and other things, so he can sell them in his badge shop at higher price:P

Funnily enough Antasma in japanese has a similar tic than Fawful (he add strings of the word "Gi" in his sentence just like how Fawful do it but with "Ru") and he is more likely to blend with Paper Mario (Paper Mario swooper bowtie, Yellow eyes, purple skin and association with shamanism like the ancients, is based on Dracula like Count Bleck).

Not that i wouldn't like to see Fawful in PM (his vacuum helmet would work very well in a Paper world:P)
