I know, Nintendo probably doesn't give a shit, but it's worth a shot, hey? Sign if you want to see another Paper Mario title as good as the first three!
What an interesting coincidence. Last night, I had an unused Club Nintendo code for a Super Paper Mario survey lying around, which I decided to put to use. In the survey, I specified how much I liked the game (including the story, which supposedly less than 1% found interesting), how I considered it to be the last great game in the series, how much I missed other people besides Bowser being the villain without some sort of copout, etc.
In any case, I've signed the petition.

You are such a great person! ^_^ You make my Rainy side burst into Sunshine!
Thanks. I'm not sure what difference it's going to make, but I felt it was worth a try, at least, since Club Nintendo surveys are where the fans could truly let their voices be heard.
I guess Sticker Star just has that kind of effect on people. It ended up causing wounds to people on all sides; from those who enjoyed all three installments (like most of us), only enjoyed the first one or two, or solely Super Paper Mario. Nearly all Paper Mario fans are in agreement about Sticker Star being almost completely devoid of any charm that the past few games had.
Nothing will come from this, heck it barely has any signatures.
Not that I don't partially agree with your desire to return to that old way.
*smacks on your head with newspaper*
Bad!
Oh wait, you agree? Oooooops...
I'm so used to abusing you for not agreeing. ^_^
Heh. I agree that PM should return to its older rpg like roots. I however don't want it to return to the melodrama that plagued the stories of SPM and TTYD respectively. Something more lighthearted like the original PM I would much prefer.
And before anyone gets on my case I don't mean Bowser has to be the villain.
I understood the drama in Super Paper Mario, but was it really that bad in Thousand-Year door? I never noticed that. I mean I guess TEC and Peach scenes, but what else? Oh, and I guess the last chapter, maybe.
It was dark, though. A noose and gang wars in the very first 5 minutes! ^_^
I didn't mind Sticker Star or Super Paper Mario at all. I just hated that Sticker Star was considered a Paper Mario game, and Super Paper Mario is not even an RPG. I liked Paper Mario 64 and The Thousand Year Door the best, especially how similar they were with their partners, hammers, boots, and the battle audience.
Despite horrible relationships between the last two, Super Paper Mario was really fun and had an awesome storyline and dialogue. Sticker Star was unique in the sense that it used stickers to fight. But the last two did not feel like Paper Mario at ALL.
We all tend to count only Sticker Star as non-Paper Mario. Super had tons of things from the series and resembled the previous games, but made many changes at the same time.
Sticker Star took so much away, but did not add much else.
