Take that back! Pennington is the leading detective of gaming! Just ask... uh. No, do not ask. Just know it to be true!
Well, yeah. That is like how there can be bad games, but games that are even worse. Some games are more underrated than others. Metroid is getting this way, actually.
And he hasn't appeared in a solo game....Yeah...also Phoenix Wright is the king/leader of all detective games as the AA series was the first "modern" mystery game which inspired some other series such as Layton (actually in the 90´s (not sure) there was this obscureFamicom mystery series which can be seen as the root of japanese mystery games like AA and Layton)
Also there are games that are (in)famously bad, games that are so bad that theyre good and games that could be otherwise good but too much glitching make them bad. Metroid is getting underrated?

Pennington has appeared in tons of solo games, but they were quickly banned because of brain tumors. The thinking involved was too much, apparently. Pennington is truly the forefather of...oh wait, the original Paper Mario had a Penguin Murder Mystery too.
Metroid has always be underrated, except for a few of the titles. However, the titles never sell well outside of North America and even then are not talked about as much as Nintendo's bigger franchises. They make Samus a big deal, but the series is nowhere near Zelda, Mario, Kirby or Pokemon.
Speaking of Nintendo I have realised that while mother isnt as popular as the "big three" (what I refer Mario,Zelda and pokemon as) it has a dedicated fanbase.
Yep, it truly has a dedicated and almost obsessed fanbase.
I also view Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon as the big three. Zelda is far behind the other two though. I was shocked to find out Kirby is up there ahead of Metroid and Donkey Kong in sales, especially in Japan. He is almost at Zelda levels. That little pink guy is rolling! Nobody will beat Mario and Pokemon though. Those games sell too much.
xD true true... But it is good that the game has a fanbase..I have only played Earthbound (and it a bit) but I like it ^^. Not so much as some people but it is good.
Exactly. I see Kirby to be one of the bigger franchises as well. Bigger than DK. WAIT WUT XD

Bigger than DK?! Thems fightin' words! Put them up! *punches air* Oh wait, I consider Kirby bigger too. He has sold more, and consistently since the NES days. He is bigger than DK and Metroid! We are doomed. The pink blob is spreading. It will not be long before he pulls ahead of Zelda, and then what? Mario and Pokemon?! Imagine the chaos of Kirbymon!

Nice Mustard of Doom reference! Fawful would be proud!
I opened a pack of bubblegum earlier and Kirby was inside, smiling back at me! Terrified I threw the gum across the room and now it is slowly spreading. I'll be Pink Rain soon enough.
Kirby Triple Deluxe and Return To Dream Land were some the the best sellers, by the way. Kirby is on a hot streak! Even Epic Yarn, which was so different sold a good amount.
Suffice to say, Kirby is no longer underrated. He used to be. Now he is an international playboy.

Return to Dream Land is the game that got so many people interested since it had four players at once on the Wii. I just Epic Yarn got more love. It had a fun two player game. ^_^ Even if you cannot die during the game, no matter what.
You just summed up all Kirby games, buddy! Cute and absolutely terrifying at the same time! Pokemon does it too.
Both, actually. I love the one with Wart and I also love the Japanese one which was called Lost Levels on the SNES. It remains my favorite. It is so addictive. ^_^
Lost Levels! It is so challenging. It remains one of my greatest moments when I beat it finally. It is my favorite Mario game. Most people think of it as a lame level editor.
