Yeah already knew that (Rainvaiz and I were doing heavy research on the news)
That's actually a Mummy Toad and it act like a cosmic clone.
The levels are divided in chapters and book, each book is around 18 levels which mean there should be about 4 books (72 levels).
By the way small interesting thing, Wingo's eyes change colors for no apparent reason as she just blink and they switch from blue to red (possession, maybe ?)

I think the chapters & books clearly imply this game will have more story than your average mainstream mario game.
If i go by the number of books it's possible:
First Book: Wingo Vs Toad Second Book: Draggadon & Second wingo fight (Wingo vs Toadette) Third Book: Final Wingo fight Fourth Book: True Antagonist
I hope it's true, Wingo is a nice recurring boss like Boom Boom or Hisstocrat but i don't see her as the final boss+it would make the villain quite smart since here he would be trying to hide the red eyes which imply his possession of Wingo.
I think it should be like Daroach from Kirby, like him Wingo loved Shiny things and so stole an artifact which contained the true villain, the true villain then possessed her.

I hope it follow the Kirby way, 99% cuteness, 1% cosmic horror.
I also think that like Kirby game you will only unlock the true final boss if you complete all challenges, if you don't, Wingo will be the final boss and you'll get a bad ending with the true antagonist's silhouette looming.
The Starfy series did something similar actually. In the first two games you couldn't face Ogars final form (or was it that you couldnt defeat him completely) if you hadn't collected all the items In the third game you couldnt face the true main villain (Ogar would be the final boss instead) and get the true ending if you didnt collect all the evil crystals (I think that was what it was called). I have no idea/dont remember if the fourth and fifth games required anything special to get the "true ending" (or if they even had multiple endings /and before anyone asks by Ogar I mean Ogura but I just have translated his name as Ogar.../

Yes also, i've noticed how Wingo has a feather which ressemble the Cape feather/SML2 fire flower form.
I remember that Daroach owned the final weapon which would be used to defeat the true final boss, well maybe the feather could be (or at least a part of) the final weapon designed to defeat the true antagonist.
I love that we get Captain Toad and Toadette levels. ^_^ One level called Shy Guy Heights even has the player avoiding detection like a Siren game. Now that is unique!
