Actually when i think about it, there is a lot of potential to CT.

If CT work indeed as a prequel/sidequest of mainstream games, then it mean they could make a second Captain Toad which could focus on his SMG1 & SMG2 adventures.

Also never realized but Wingo is technically the first non-Bowser antagonist to appear in a mainstream series:P

I hate that Wingo was the boss, but oh well.

I'm happy that we may get some more Captain Toad games! ^_^ This could be like Luigi's Mansion.

Yeah but King boo is a spin-off technically while CT is a Prequel/Sidequel of mainstream game, so it's still count.

But now i really want to see a CT's sidequel which focus on what Captain Toad did in SMG1/SMG2, for what we know there could have been another antagonist at work in the background of SMG:P

I count Captain Toad as a spinoff still despite that ending.

I think a SMG CT also work because Rosalina teased another unknown world which Mario never got to explore, maybe CT would explore this unknown world and accidently cause the Super Luigi Galaxy events to happen
