But more seriously a return back to the roots, something that is deep as SPM but with the wittiness of the first two, no shoved up Bowser (PMSS & DT are enough for me) & if possible a cool antagonist or even better Antasma which reveal having a connection to Bleck/Nastasia (won't happen but well...)

If it ends up being another Sticker Star, then the series is dead to me, plain and simple. At the risk of echoing what's already been said, here's hoping they don't get peoples' hopes up by creating an interesting new villain, only for him or her to get undermined once Bowser comes into the picture.

This is make or break for this series. Another Sticker Star kills the series. I wish I would have gotten this on my 3DS though. Instead I got Sticker Star.

Hopefully this goes back to the classic formula, or even SPM style mixed with Thousand-Year Door. No Bowser as the final boss, of course.

Rightfully so! We all basically want the same thing and hopefully Nintendo realizes this fact.

I also do not believe this was just a joke or mistake. I knew we would most likely get a Mario RPG for the Wii U at some point. ^_^ I cannot wait! However, I am trying to keep my anticipation in check. I do not want to get too excited yet.

I hope this game returns to classic RPG formula. No stickers or anything that can run out unless it is FP. I liked SPM gameplay too, but I want the old RPG style back for battles.

Yes. It feels to have the classic quirkiness the first three Paper Mario games had. Plus Parrakay? What could possibly go wrong (other than what if Bowser was final boss again)

I actually have a better idea.

The plot would be that Parrakay (and other post paratroopas) do their business as usual, deliver mails to both the Mushroom kingdom and koopa kingdom (or darklands,what ever floats you boat) . However one day the packages would start to dissapear, without getting to the destination. Mario and Parrakay (along with other characters) start to investigate the mystery

At first it seems that this goes the "lets make Bowser the main villain and try to be creative/pretend he isnt road" . However later on it is revealled that there is a new main villain. A bitter person who have decided that no one shall ever get post again (due the fact that they never got the letter they waited for). The main true main villain tries to summon an evil spirit who will wipe out the whole post systems . He/she succseedes in summoning the spirit, but the spirit knocks a lot of people (temporaly out) including Peach (if she is in scene) , Bowser, the main villain and all the partners but Parrakay

Well most of it. I have had this idea/wish of a mario rpg in which Bowser seems to be the main villain but he isnt . Other than that I made most up recently
