Since I noticed that we love comparing Antasma with different charcters I made this into an actual topic
So far this forum has compared Antasma to
- the previous Mario RPG villains: looking somewhat similar to them and being a "red herring"
- Nightmare Wizard from the Kirby franchise: both are nghtmare themed Nintendo villains (also if I remember correctly one of the base inspirations the devs had was Nightmare Wizard
- Vaati from the Legend of Zelda franchise: both were originally weak but got stronger. Both were hjacked by the main antagonist (also both are purple)
- Ogura from the Densetsu no stafy franchise. Both are sealed demonic creatures with animal motif whose main motive was to break free and cause havoc. Both kidnapped a royal at one point, have multiple forms,were second to last bossess in their strongest form (if I remember correctly the Alterd/EX version of Ogura is stronger than the final form he had in dns 1/2 but i could be wrong). Both also were revealed to serve under another villain. (on subject of DNS, Antasma kinda looks like Evil/Iburu the main villain of Stafy 3)
So yeah...I might missed some but still. Also i left out the obvious Dracula comparasion because....
