Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario collide!

I'm surprised Starlow came back once again, look like she's indeed becoming the face of Mario & Luigi series.

As for OC and villains, we'll see it's too early to tell.

Still eagerly waiting to the team-up of the two Bowser, boy their surroundings will probably collapse into a black hole from the sheer combined ego of those two

I do hope OC's of both series show up and interact, it was a pretty big part of the RPG, so it would be sad if they do not show up.

Idk how the partner system would work in such tbh.

But since it's a crossover, it should have nods from the various RPG games and stuffs with inventive gameplay that mesh up both worlds well while being innovative.

I just don't want this game to be NSMB: the RPG, that's all i want.

We'll see, i have some hope since it's seem primarly based on M&L, Alpha Dream know how to do his work.

Also, yeah the game is developped by Alphadream, so at least the gameplay won't be butchered.

I have my doubt for a brand new villain, looks like we'll be fighting the Bowzs.

But who know ? AlphaDream might reserve us a surprise

So far, I'm disappointed. From what I'm seeing, it looks to be nothing more than bunch of Sticker Star pandering, despite the fact that most people in the fandom want to forget it ever existed, since it's the game that single-handedly ruined the Paper Mario series. Adding insult to injury, they make Bowser the main villain again, despite already filling that role in two other RPGs recently (one in which they wasted the potential of a perfectly good villain just to make him look good).

Yeah, i'll be waiting for more content but so far it look they went the NSMB way which can be summed up as a "let's take the safe casual way".

I do hope that i'am wrong and that PM & M&L OC's do come back but those hopes are pretty low.

Like how Sticker Star promised to go back to TTYD roots and ended up into something completly different :/

Edit: Also oddly enough this game has a larger gap between the announcement and its release than the average M&L game (usually a M&L announced at this time would tend to come in october/november but this one come's out in Spring 2016)

It don't bother me too and as i said it's made by Alpha Dream, so i hope they will reserve us some twists.

What would bother me is if this game doesn't exploit the full potential of such crossover, you could have interesting cameos and nods, various fun interactions even with the OC's, both's series gameplay meshing up into something great.

So far my impression is that the whole thing look like Sticker Star: Mario & Luigi edition but i'm willing to wait since the game seems still in an early stage (the fact that the release date is farther than the average M&L seem to confirm this)

We'll see, i still think there is a possibility that there will be a few Dream team OC's showing up since the game is using DT sprites and Starlow is there but i'm not getting my hopes too high.

Still i admit, i'll be looking at this game just for the Bowser's bickering, i feel it will be pretty hilarious to see

I'm indifferent to the 2D sections but i admit SSS did it pretty good for the open overworld, so i hope they take SSS's idea of overworld and expand it.
