Starfy isnt that dark or shockikg as the kirby series. Its kinda tamer. Yeah therr is creeepy stuff nut most of it is fridge horror and/or dark story related stuff rather than the eyeball madness kirby has

There is a bit of fridge horror for Antasma but when he first transform after being freed from his imprisonnement, it seem to be quite in painful for him to revert back to normal.
Make you wonder how painful his nightmare transformation must have been.

Antasma's story is kinda horrific when you think about it.
A small inoffensive and probably good guy who is driven insane and evil by nightmares and yet despite everyone thinking he is irremediably evil, still seem to retain some noble virtues.
A shame AD didn't exploit and develop him further, he could have been a pretty horrifying, tragic and memorable villain but Hey! Gotta please the Bowser's fandom first

Starfy killed kids? What are we talking about here? I have no idea.
Underwater sections sometimes scare me. I hated the underwater section in Dino Crisis 2 when all the music went away and all you could hear were the currents caused by the dinosaurs before they attacked!
Okay that sounds really weird out of context but allow me to explain
You see did I explain how the second game had the franchises "equvaliment" of koopalings, the Puchi Ogura's . The second games plot is basically Ogura summons his "children" to wreak havoc and then kidnaps starfys mom yadda yadda. So basically ik the second game you had to defeat these bossess one by one. Sounds harmless ebough: well in the third game its revealed that the puchi Oguras died...so yeah
There are some implied dark stuff in DNS series as well such as how its heavily implied that the true main villain of dns3 would have destroyed Pufftop rather than just taken it over or the whole thing in TLS how the main villain of that game literslly absorbed power by eating things alive...disturbing and disgusting... and then there is the whole implication that when Evil/Iburu (the true main villain of dns 3) "powered up" Ogura to a stronger form that damaged Ogura kinda badly... here is just a few examples of the screw upnsss of seakirb
Oh! Thanks for explaining. Yeah, it sounded horrible without proper context. I was like "wow!" when I read that part.
Thousand-Year Door was basically Nintendo's version of GTA with all the dark stuff with gang wars and ghettos. I do not think the ESRB even plays Mario anymore before greenlighting the games. The see Mario and assume he is rated E for everyone.

No problem pal ^^. Its still kinda messed up,but the contexy softens it a bit . A teeny bit
Also while more on darkish themes than scary remember that time Nintendo(or skip) made a game focusing on real life issues like family drama and disguised it as a cute adventure/platforming/cleaning simulator. Thats right i described the original chibi robo in a nutshell
Count Bleck was redeemed. I want to see a villain go out as a villain, but still save people or do some good things. Breath of Fire 2 had a character like this who was evil, but still saved a village and several children from drowning.
Since I am on a pokemon kick I have two fridge horror things. First off it is implied that there has been wars in the pokemon world. In the first gen one of the gym leaders is a war veteran (I think ). Then there was the whole thing in X/Y
Secondly while Legendary Pokemon are awesome and powerful they also are kinda a threat. Think about it. If any of these powerful pseudogods got into wrong hands it could lead into the ultimate destruction of the world. I actually remember seeing a video which talks about disturbing implications of pokemon. I can show it if you want
All of the ghost Pokemon entries disturb me with Froslass taking people away if they travel in the snow.
Plus, the war happened and all those Pokemon were forced to kill each other, and even now kids run around and make animals fight reminds me of dog fighting in a way.
The Scary House story in Pokemon X was kind of disturbing, but the haunted house in Pearl was scarier.
Yamask, Phantump, Gourgeist and Jellicent have creepy entries too, to name a few
Yeah it is kinda cockfighting. It gets disturbing when you think psychic pokemons some which are more intelligetn than human (like alakazam) but still used in battles.
I think i mentoined Old chateu in DPPT it was creepy
here is the dex entry Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed. It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey.
Yeah I feel sorry for Mewtwo (Genesect was also experminted on altho it isnt explit). Another legendary Pokemon with a rather sad/creepy pokedex entry is Kyurem (who is my fourth/fifth favorite legendary btw). It is stated that its a pokemon that is implied to eat people. Kyurem is also implied to be a literal living empty shell, since its the original dragon which split into Reshiram and Zekrom.
The ghostgirl who says "you are not the one are you"?
Also platinium had the distortion world right? The dimension where Giratina was banished. Its pretty freaky stuff
Wow, that is scary. Even worse because one of its move is Trick-or-Treat which makes me think they go out on Halloween and get kids on the streets!
Yeah, that ghost girl. The whole section with the Scary House is spooky. The music is dark, gravestones by the house, the empty and rust playground, and the murky swamp all add to the atmosphere.
True, and Terminus Cave in X/Y where Zygarde is located.
Pretty spooky. Abnormal things seem to be all over the place, and various caves, forests, and swamps adds to that theme of spookiness. Golurk is found roaming ancient ruins, for instance. Then its entry says that it was made by people in the past for protection and still roams the area. Cool details like that make X/Y awesome.
Plus, Laverre City is otherwordly since that is where you can find the Fairy Gym. It is a giant dollhouse.
Yeah, it resembles one with the players transporting to the various rooms to fight trainers and eventually the gym leader. I really like the gym and it is kinda creepy, but also cool.
