Personally... I like a lot of the game, but I think the difficulty is just so poorly done that it's honestly sometimes more infuriating than enjoyable. Feels like they needed some real rebalancing during beta testing, and never got round to it.
But yeah, thoughts?
Wario fan, Mario game modder and interested in every Mario RPG you can imagine!
I also run Wario Forums, which is a place to discuss the Wario Land and WarioWare franchises.
It's a good game in of itself. (Still better than Sticker Star.) I'll say this much. While I haven't beaten Dream Team yet? (Mostly due to me wanting a "New" 3DS. But I digress?) It seems a lot funnier and more comfortable than sticker star. (Only cause Paper Bowser actually talks in this version instead of the "silent" treatment? lol)
If the rumors of Paper Mario: Wii U are actually true? Then that means the horrible influence from Sticker Star will NOT be used in future Paper Mario games. (Originally in an interview I saw. Before the game came out.) That if Sticker Star were to become a runaway success story? That Intelligent Systems will use that in their future installments of the series! (Thank God that emails and fan letters still exist telling them that it's a very bad idea!) Even the Japanese audience HATED that game. And rightfully so. Thank God Club Nintendo doesn't exist anymore and hopefully Nintendo will read some emails next time or ask the players on Miiverse online what they would like to add in future versions of PM? (If the rumors are true, that is?)
Bang!
Been a fan of the Paper Mario series ever since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the Wii... No joke! XD I saw a few ads and commercials about the Paper Mario series. But I didn't start playing them for the story until I played the third game in the series. Ever since then? Many games of 2016 have come and challenge what we consider as story driven games now. UnderTale and recently FNAF's World. I hope that someday I can create my own game based upon the Paper Mario series and pay tribute.
