This is my favorite Paper Mario game. I agree that the story is top-notch. 10/10 is what I would award it too.
I thought the gameplay was pretty refreshing, but I did miss the turn-based combat. However, I think this system stands on its own merits. I loved jumping around in boss battles and flipping was fun to use when exploring. I loved the character abilities. I just love side-scrolling, so this appeals to me. I supposed 8/10 is fitting.
Nerdy Chameleon
Feminine Flower King
Mario version of Lucifer
That was the most hilarious part of the review. I never put it into words, but wow! This game has a motley crew of villains.
I loved the presentation! It was unique. The NPCs were a little weird at first, but I thought they were easy to become accustomed too. I loved how you went into detail about Count Bleck's theme and the melodies. It is the most detailed soundtrack. 9/10 is cool.
This is a very good review, Fawful? I saw the original video on your YouTube channel and commented on the greatest of the flow. You know what the Toads from Sticker Star reminds me of? The Smurfs of all things! XD (Except none of the smurfs that I've watched as a kid had the same black beanie eyes or just a different color swap? (Toad should've been playable in Smash 4? lol)
But well done on reviewing Super Paper Mario. My first experience in the whole franchise alone!
Been a fan of the Paper Mario series ever since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the Wii... No joke! XD I saw a few ads and commercials about the Paper Mario series. But I didn't start playing them for the story until I played the third game in the series. Ever since then? Many games of 2016 have come and challenge what we consider as story driven games now. UnderTale and recently FNAF's World. I hope that someday I can create my own game based upon the Paper Mario series and pay tribute.
