What would you say, in your opinion, are some of the really good aspects of the game?
Personally, I am particularly fond of the Giant Battles even though they definitely don't resonate with everyone. A particularly good one is the Zeekeeper fight, which I found to be very interesting and on the right level difficulty wise. Alot of people complained about how awful the gryoscope was, but I never encountered any issues whatsoever.
I agree on the giant battles, except the Zeekeeper part. That thing was nigh impossible and the gyroscope was totally fudged up for me.
One highlight for me was the music. For the most part, it felt calm and vacation-y which definitely fits the atmosphere. Plus, that boss theme.
Yeah, I hear people say that alot but I didn't find it difficult at all. I guess my gyroscope controls just enjoy working properly. Yessss. The music, how could I forget. The music was pretty much perfect.
I thought the boss battles in general were the highlight of the game. Interesting attack patterns and gimmicks, very cool looking visually, and heck, the boss music here is amazing. Special props to the Antasma battle in Neo Bowser Castle, or (when they worked) the last few giant battles.
Wario fan, Mario game modder and interested in every Mario RPG you can imagine!
I also run Wario Forums, which is a place to discuss the Wario Land and WarioWare franchises.
I think the whole thing was well constructed with some hitcher here and there. Besides the beginning stuff I enjoy most of the game. The Neo Bowser's castle sort of drag a bit though. The Music is great, the interactions and characters as a whole, story was interesting, and love the peaceful tropical feel of the game.
