I never believed that Dimentio created the Pixls, if he had created the pixls, then he must've created Shadoo. (Who is the Pixl Queen.) That also would've meant that be possibly created Mimi. (Who is a failed Pixl.) The ancients are the ones that 100% created the pixls.
Shadoo was pretty much the first pixl to be created. During the Pixl Uprising, the Pixl Queen had the powers of illusion and the power of horrific images. These both are similar to Shadoo's powers. It turned out that the Pixl Queen was created by a master magician.
Now, I don't think that the master magician was Dimentio, I'm pretty sure that it was Merloo, the father of Dimentio. Merloo studied the Dark Prognosticus when he created the Pixl Queen, and the Dark Prognosticus I believe is created by Dimentio. So.. that possibly means that Dimentio is older than Shadoo.
Mimi was probably the last pixl ever created, for how the ancients outlawed the creation of Pixls after the events of the Pixl uprising.
