Have any you peeps ever played this game. I was reluctant to play it at first because of what some people thought. They said it was too easy, too cute, and not a real Kirby game!
I say that is complete nonsense. Kirby is supposed to be cute. The game remains easy throughout, but there are goals to meet that are harder. You can run through all the levels and have a blast, or slowly wade through levels to find secrets in the form of furniture, which you can use to upgrade Kirby's house! It feels like Animal Crossing in some ways. You even have some optional mini-games near his house to break up the action if you wish.
Most of all, Kirby games should be creative. This is by far the most creative. Kirby moves quickly by turning into a car and drives around. In the air, he will act a parachute and glide. Underwater, he has two options depending on the area. He can turn into a Dolphin and swim around or he can turn into a submarine. My favorites are Rocket Ship Kirby which plays like an old school space invaders. My second favorite is Tank Kirby. He destroys all!
Seeker, you must play it! It is the definition of Kirby! ^_^ I also recommend the Kirby Dream Collection. It has 6 Kirby games on it!
Kirby's Dream Land - Gameboy
Kirby's Adventure - NES
Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Gameboy
Kirby Superstar - SNES
Kirby's Dream Land 3 - SNES
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - N64
All of these are great games and many never had the chance to play them when they came out. I certainly did not. Kirby's Adventure is my favorite.
Batman! You are are the only one I have ever known that likes the narrator, other than myself. Too many people said that Epic Yarn was too cute and for babies. Kirby is supposed to be cute. Every game. ^_^
