Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is a really underrated game and there are tiny rumors going around that there is going to be a remake of it. i'm not sure if I'd want it, I want a fresh new Mario and Luigi game with old and new characters coming into play.

I would play it, but I would prefer a new and fantastic Mario and Luigi game.

I for one am happy about this because it's probably the only way Fawful will appear again. (Also this is one rumor that I highly doubt is fake because they even posted the eShop icon for it, alongside another game icon that was later confirmed real)

I hope that is a fake because I don't want a Mario and Luigi game with the Dream Team formula. Doesn't have the goofy Mario and Luigi feel like in Superstar Saga.

I'm not sure if I'd still play it with the Dream Team sprites.

I don't think they'll regress back to 2D-style sprites. I love the old sprite style but I also think Dream Team modernized it without taking away the charm, they still have wacky animations and such.

Been a fan of the Paper Mario series ever since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the Wii... No joke! XD I saw a few ads and commercials about the Paper Mario series. But I didn't start playing them for the story until I played the third game in the series. Ever since then? Many games of 2016 have come and challenge what we consider as story driven games now. Well, I wouldn't say this disproves his death since it's a remake and doesn't take place after BIS, but at the same time I don't think the death in BIS should prevent him from receiving fanservice in other Mario games since he's still a popular character and other games don't follow the M&L canon (or any canon at all in some cases like Mario Kart)

You know this is a remake of Superstar Saga, right? So this doesn't mean fawful is alive though I don't see why Fawful can't have cameo either. RPG's love Bring evil being back to life so can't see why Fawful couldn't come back.
