I had a small suspicion that it was Ninten but I didn't really want to bother to be 100% accurate. :< They both look the same to me. I think in my headcanon, Ninten IS Ness, but crazier. I don't know. I don't play Earthbound *puts up Xandalf shield*.

it is actually possible because mother 1/beginnings took place in 1989 and ninten is 12 and mother 2/earthbound is 199X, X being any number from 0-9, and ness is 13 so i suppose it's possible if but i doubt it and i am not fond of the theory

Hi! My name's Kye Beaudoin (also known as Starturbo, and previously known as StarSonic64). I'm a fan of games such as Mario, Sonic, but also a lot of indie games. I'm currently working on my own indie games too. Currently, I'm making Turbodrive, which is planned to be an 2D RPG/racing game, with jumping, somewhat to similar to some of the Mario and Luigi games. I'm also making Superstar Technic, which will be a 2D platformer, similar to games like Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, as well as others. I'll try to share screenshots of these games here when I can, but I'm currently in the procress of rewriting Superstar Technic from scratch, as well as updating the graphics in both games.

Anyways, I got recommended to join here by another member I talk to, and I'm excited to be part of this community!

Agreed with you. I really pike his desing and concept but was soooo disapointed with him. The worst fact: back when dt wasnt out I was so hyped for him and so disappointed. Sadly this wasnt the last time I would-be disappointed by a character I hyped (see Nurarihiyons lackeys from the second yokai watch movie. I may have one of them (that being inumaro I already used Nekokiyo ob another forum as my avatat soo I thought give lo e for the other floof haja) as my current icon but darn I think they were wasted

Same, was hyped about a new villain and finally get a break from all the Bowser final boss but at the end all i saw was a "Lolno here's more Bowser for you :bowser:

The fact he had some traits that could hint him being a tragic villain (like his backstory implying that he was not always evil) didn't really help (could have been a cool M&L equivalent of Count Bleck but in the end they choose to use him as plot device to make Bowser look good and evil)

At least Paper Jam had a few direct and indirect nods to him, so AlphaDream might not have forget about him.

I'm Sight, and I've sort of lurked here for a while, out of sight. ~~I watch you sleep.~~

I've been playing Mario RPGs since the first Paper Mario in 2001, and I don't think any other series has ever affected me nearly as much. The characters, stories, and worldbuilding are all very special to me. In fact, I get kinda upset when people refer to the platformers as the "main series." To me, they're just the wacky irrelevant "filler episodes" that come between the RPGs - the real main series.

My "biggest" contribution to the fandom thus far is an ongoing story called "The Kingdom Beyond Midnight." I'll link it in the fan creations board, if you're interested.

Anyway, I'll be around. I'm glad to be here!
