Yeah characters with finished storyarcs should not return (unless cameo) no matter how much I like them. And I could have yet another example of a character I like but dont want to see return because his story arc js finished but knowing me I think thats too obvious (I meant the most underrated Nintendo villain f y i)

I knew it! ^_^ We talked about the subject before. We like our finished arcs around here provided they end in a legit manner. Tas is the exception since his ending was more like a fizzle.
Even the Shroobs as entire species got threated better.
Tas's story is litterally "Make Bowser look good and awesome", considering how quirky AD's villains are, it's really jarring they would make a new villain just for the sake of making Bowser look good and evil.
True that why he's back in Paper Jam, since the game actually offer a way to bring him back without his red herring design (reveal that being a bat, he can do the transformation like Nastasia and so use it to replace his destroyed previous form)
He had an awesome theme, i would love to see for more violin styled battles with him
He needs a few more battles, some more forms, and maybe a few more themes. This could all redeem him. Awesome, quotable dialogue seems to be the best factor in popularity. Tas needs that I suppose.
I suppose more of his "All i vant is the freedom to spread my vings" quotes could help him being more enjoyable, the kind of villain which has a darker brand of sarcasm and humour yet can pull pretty deep quotes a times.
And Nastasia-like transformation since it ties with the game's theme, explain why he explosed in DT yet came back and give him a non red heering form which clearly hint at the possibility of him becoming a true big bad and final boss.
If he is the final boss they will have to find some way to make his battle seem more epic than the last battle. that will be hard to top. I am hoping we do not get some awful giant battle out of it, though.
I want a comically dark villain. Humorous, but deep when the serious matters take place.
Giant battle are removed and i highly doubt he'll be the final boss of Sticker Jam.
At least a superboss battle would be cool.
Yeah a villain who is clearly evil with a dark brand of humor but with hint of goodness and tragicness which are a remnants of the time he was not corrupted by nightmares.
Antasma could be a bridge between the two series, he is from M&L series but he gain a transformation and few powers that originated from the PM series.
Bonus point if he use his Antasma X color scheme (since it's kinda like Bleck)
That is a good point. We need a bridge between series. A town, or a character. Something that brings them together beyond the obvious counterparts of each character.
I think SPM characters could help fulfill the bridge since they were connecting the 2D and 3D.
Antasma revealing that he and Nastasia come from the same kind of transforming bat can help for the connection too (since it imply that there is a species whose members exist in both M&L and PM)
This can give us a connected story and characters that fans know to help bridge the series together. Which areas do you think will be brought back from each series? If we get old locations.
There won't be any, it will be the classic Grasslands, Desert, Water/Forest, Ice, Sky and Volcano world.
But i think Rogueport has the most chance of coming back.
I would like the Dark forest/place with a full moon in which Blumiere found Nastasia, could be pretty symbolic if Antasma in his new form is met there.
I agree with Rogueport and Toad Town, of course. I wish we would get a boat that connects Wakeport and Rogueport somehow. It would be awesome to see those two centers of commerce!
I would like too, if AD can bring back characters why not locations ? Through with some twists (like that Pi'illo island is now in Winter and so everyone left)
